We bought a decent tripod that allowed for horizontal recording of arts and crafts looking down at a tabletop. We needed a small QR release plate compatible with the tripod that uses Arca Swiss style plates to attach the phone clamp. For our set up, I found that the 40 mm plate works with this tripod, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088FPBXHH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, perfectly.From reading the other reviews, there was some concern regarding the two screw heads that protrude at the bottom of the plate. I've included photos to show how they fit on my tripod head. The protrusions measure about 2mm or 1/8". This keeps the plate from sliding out by accident and our tripod head has slots machined in to accommodate the plate protrusions and allow for minor slide adjustments. Also, the plate width was slightly different, but still fit the tripod head without issue. It's solidly constructed and a great value!

Mounts tightly to a scope. Sturdy. Would recommend for an inexpensive mount.

I couldn’t find the exact quick release plate for my tripod but this one works great. I measured mine and and this is constructed similar so it worked fine.

I love these plates. They fit well and are 98% the same as the originals. I bought more plates to have around because I'm always misplacing them around the house. I compared this one to the original one and I can't find anything different from one another. Highly recommended at more than half the price of the original.

Needed an Arca Swiis mount cheap. Right price and wored great!

exactly as described, works perfectly, well machined and fits my tripod quick release plate. note: you can't tighten with allen key, either by hand or a coin.
