Literacy and the Youngest Learner (Teaching Resources)

Wonderful text- easy to read and follow with many wonderful suggestions for practice implementation. I had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Duke speak, and find her to be well versed on this and many topics regarding the education of young children.

Pretty good quality. Had a little issues with some pages coming out but for the price packing tape worked perfectly! Still so much cheaper than my schools bookstore so I'm not complaining!!!

I actually thought this one was interesting. This was for an early childhood education class and I actually got quite a bit out of it. It was a pretty good read for a text book. Great value and looked brand new. Thanks for saving me money on a college book!

Great book!

A great book with lots of photos and suggestions for creating a literacy- rich environment for infants and toddlers. I look forward to implementing some of these ideas in my own home.

The text is written in a very simplistic way which is great for beginning teachers.

Very user friendly. Used for kindergarten jump start training this summer. Provided useful resources that teachers could implement with or without a program.

I particularly like the fact that this book offers "real life " examples that can be used it the classroom. Nicely done.
