While I love Turkish coffee I don't drink it often enough to warrant buying an entire pound of coffee. The fact that this is 3 smaller packets means that I can open one and freeze the others. That was the real reason I bought this. The coffee it's self is good. While not as robust as I would like, it still makes a decent cup of coffee

I expected a product in the mold of traditional Turkish coffee, where you simmer the coffee just short of a boil, pour it into cups and let the sludge settle to the bottom. Insert favorite adjective for extreme strength of brew. Perhaps I just didn't read the description carefully. This is an INSTANT coffee. When I read the instructions on the packet I realized my mistake. I decided to boil it in the water anyway. I probably doubled the "heaping teaspoon" per cup of water guideline and kept it on the stove for ten minutes. I was amazed at the flavor. No, it wasn't syrupy, sludgy, bitter or super strong. It was flavorful in an almost herbal, aromatic way. I loved it. My partner in crime, who has enjoyed real Turkish coffee in situ, liked it as well. We just don't recognize it as what we think of as Turkish coffee. I never knowingly drink instant coffee and normally prefer strong, earthy, nutty brew, but reckon this was a happy mistake. It will be convenient for camping.

I learned to drink this coffee when I was in Israel. I haven’t stopped drinking coffee for the last 40 years I get it all the time because I don’t like American coffee so I drink Israeli coffee all the time now it taste is great. It has no aftertaste like it is red like the American coffee. Try it you might like it.

Developed a liking for Turkish Coffee when overseas. This is a good product.
