This works as well as any soldered connector, period.
Stop messing around with solder connections. I too have heard all the stories about how soldered connections are the best and so on. The simple fact is that in some instances where you need to disassemble a connection or the wiring isn't free to move around such as adding in wire, nothing beats these connectors. They simply work and do not vibrate loose.I wish they were less expensive but since they do work, sometimes you have to pay to get high quality.I keep a few of these in a plastic bag under the seat o my motorcycles along with a small quantity of wire and know that if I ever need to repair wiring I have the means to do with. We all know you can check things 10 times before a trip but things can and do happen so this is far better than twisting wires together and hoping they'll hold.

GREAT PRODUCT
I have been learning about motorcycle wiring and upgrading lighting/doing misc stuff and these are great for tapping & connecting wires. Simple, little room for error - stripping the wires properly (without a proper tool) can be the hardest part. But for a beginner or expert, these make things so easy. They make secure connections and allow flexibility if you are testing out issues or scenarios before making permanent connections. Love them and will always keep them on hand.

Expensive but worth every penny
Expensive for such small connectors but i will have to say these are worth every penny. Much more secure than butt connectors which if crimp incorrectly the wire can just slide out. I used a couple of these inline connectors to wire up my clifford alarm system in my toyota camry in a couple of super tight spaces where it was almost impossible to use butt connectors because i was unable to get a pair of crimpers into that tight space. These connectors will 100% hold your wires securely and you will never have to worry about the wire getting loose or slide out of the connector.

Posi-Lock Connectors Kit - in use on my motorcycle for 2 years
I figure that it is a good test. I don't think of them as waterproof, but they are in a sheltered place on the bike. No evidence of moisture intrusion. They held together fine for the last two years, and I figure that the motor, with its vibrations felt in the whole bike, is a good test.

Not posi-tap connectors
These aren't the posi tap connectors and don't serve much purpose, If you can solder then thats usually a better option. I thought these were the tap style so I wouldn't have to hack up my stock wiring but, they are not.

Such an upgrade
These are great. Using them on various wiring projects on Jeep and they result in a much sturdier connection over other methods. More costly, but worth the ease and peace of mind.

THE best tooless wire connectors!
Hands down, the best tooless wire connectors. Pricey ($1), I'm hooked and will not use crimps for my 12vdc work again.Tip to buyers. Compare with racerswholesaleparts dot com directly for great service and CONSISTENT pricing. Amazon is aggressively manipulating pricing in realtime and if you are not careful you WILL pay too much. Stop the cycle, give Jack Barsos a call at RWP.

Work much better than the old crimp style but are expensive
Work much better than the old crimp style but are expensive. Are reusable but I install and don't envision reusing so keep having to but more. Hope the price comes down as other manufacturers begin to copy.
