Riedel Performance Champagne Glass

another Excellent glass by Riedel. I did a side by side taste test with other shapes of champagne glasses that I have (all were flutes) and this glass by far was tops! Really opens up the champagne so you can enjoy the beautiful flavor and texture in the glass. Love it!

Undeniable top quality.

I held one star back because I DO NOT appreciate the packaging of these delicate glasswares. No interior padding and the items were shipped as if they were taken from a shelf in a department store, with a “fragile” sticker attached (like that would protect it). Package arrived fine and intact (thankfully). I’m not sure why persons are complaining about the weight and quality of these glasses..... The lighter the glass, the easier it is to swirl! Period! These, needless to say are perfect for swirling and yes, you can swirl champagne! Shape is perfect for nosing and also allows for the perfect amount of aeration. With regards to pricing, my opinion is they should cost at least $10 - $15 less. Overall, if you can afford it/ don’t mind the price, by all means; go ahead and spoil yourself. I will surely be drinking my favourite champagne out of these ;)

I enjoy champagne -- good champagne. I could not believe the difference this glass made! I have Riedel exclusively for all types of wine, but I used my white wine glass for champagne until now. The design of this glass increased the experience, lasting bubbles, taste. WOW!

I bought these for a gift for my husband, and they did not disappoint. They are elegant, striking, and beautiful. They are very delicate - which is part of what makes them seem so special and elegant - so I worry about breaking them, but so far so good. It's very pleasant to watch the champagne bubbles rise in this shape of glass.

Adds to the flavor and overall experience. Only complaint is my local wine store they were $10 cheaper, so I wish I would have known. Great gift for champagne and bubbly lovers.

Love these elegant glasses for champagne or Prosecco. Reidel never misses. Love the extra long stem too! Great champagne glass if you’re wanting a little more than a flute.
