Three Layer Mesh Ventilated Beekeeping Suit, Sting proof Beekeeper Suit with Fencing & Round Brim Hat

I recently purchased the Oz Armour Beekeeping Suit Ventilated Super Cool Air Mesh with Fencing & Round Brim Hat, and it has exceeded my expectations! As a beekeeper, I was searching for a suit that would not only provide excellent protection but also keep me cool and comfortable during hive inspections, especially in the summer months. I am thrilled to say that this suit delivered on all fronts!The ventilated super cool air mesh design is an absolute game-changer. The suit allows ample airflow, keeping me cool and preventing overheating, even during intense beekeeping sessions. The breathable fabric is lightweight and doesn't hinder my movements, allowing me to work freely and with ease. You can feel the breeze through the suit, but you also feel completely protected as well.The addition of the round brim hat was a huge plus for me. I prefer to use this form of face/head protection so that it keeps the mesh away from my face and the stings away from my nose and forehead. The suit's sturdy construction and high-quality materials give me the confidence to work near my bees without worrying about any unexpected encounters. The elastic cuffs and ankle straps ensure a snug fit, keeping those persistent little buzzers from finding their way in.I appreciate the attention to detail in the suit's design. The reinforced zippers and double-stitched seams give it durability, making it a long-lasting investment for any beekeeper. The suit is also easy to clean and maintain, which is a definite plus. It is white, so you will see soiling if you are actively using it, but that is to be expected. And there are a good number of pockets in various areas that allow for you to put your hive tools, phone, or anything else you'd like to have next to you when in the apiary.I have to point out that the sizing options are completely wild and don't follow conventional sizing charts. I am a tall and larger (6'2" and 250lbs) and I went with the 4X size after reading some of the other reviews. This is just workable for my size. I can feel the inseam when I crouch down and it is a little tight. Just keep the size in mind when ordering. You'll probably want to get at least 2 sizes larger than what you wear in regular sizing. It's the one really funky thing about this product.in conclusion, the Oz Armour Beekeeping Suit is an exceptional product. It combines top-notch protection, comfort, and durability, making it a must-have for any serious beekeeper. I am not a bee keeper but gardener and own land, In June I heard the loudest noise coming at me and bit my lip. I never been bit by a bee or Hornet, I went into anaphylaxis and had become disorientated and body organs slowing shutting down. Nearly fainted and confused and rushed to ER,. After 6 hrs in ER my life changed. Epipen to carry and 911 if bitten again. This can not be. Called pest control but couldn't find anything but suggested only this suit so I ordered it and read many suit reviews prior ordering. This Company was so helpful with questions. Received very fast, It took me a week to get the nerve to put on and try it, I mowed my lawn twice with no problem. The last time I mowed I felt something tap my shoulder but thought it was an angel over my shoulder or the damn thing tried to get me again. Well I did not get bite at least. Today the landscaper was in the area where I was stung and looked up to find a big old Hornet nest. I called pest control and now it is all gone. The tap on the shoulder was not my angel but the Hornet who didn't get me. This suit is fantastic. I can go about my yard and not worry. The size was good. I ordered large as I put thicker clothes underneath. I weigh 125 and 5'7. It is not hot and well ventilated. I like the flat hat better than the oval hat but maybe in time I will like. I wear my Australian hat under the bee hat to make sure it doesn't move the flat hat or mess face screen. I have a small head, In 80 degree weather, dressed warm under suit, and in sun/heat 2 hours I had no issues with suit. I just hope it is always available on Amazon. It is made well. Zippers than covered by velcro. I couldn't find cowhide gloves for my hands as sizes sold out so I used cowhide welding gloves that go mid way up arms and nothing can get in.They are working out so far well but I would like to find strong bee proof high gloves for gardening. Gloves did not come with mine. I know ground bee nests will be in the yard soon as every other year and I will feel confident I shall get them out with no issues .Wood chucks love to make holes in yard so they can be anywhere. But this suit is a life changer for me. No stings, it is comfortable to wear, cool body ventilation, and excellent workmanship in all the details of the suit. The legs have nice zippers to get in and out easy too. I store my suit in a nice cloth fabric case. All fits together to store well. Thank you OZ Armor

I have never been stung through this suit. It is very well made and holds up in the washer. I hang it up to dry. I don't put the veil in the washer. It is quite heavy in weight. There is removable padding on the knees. The velcro closures at the neck, wrists, and ankles are secure. Plastic zippers are heavy duty, well made and glide well. I am extreamly happy with my purchase.

Giving 4 stars because of the plastic zippers. Other than that, this is a great suit. Thick but still breathable. The fencing vail unzips which is also a nice feature. Being able to access pockets through the leg zipper helps!

Best Bee Suit i have ever owned. Very high quality and worth the few extra dollars. Runs a little large but that makes putting it on easier. Ventilation is exceptional and much better than expected.

Love this suit! I feel so comfortable working around bees of any temperament!

I really wanted to like this suit, as the round hats appeal to me more than the fencing veils. BUT, this suit is incredibly heavy and truly not usable for warm weather hive work. The suit seems to be very well made, just wish it was lighter in weight for summery wear - perhaps ok for Canadian beekeepers.
