Trivia ->Just like everyone else, I am learning how to navigate the waters of brow-shaping and lip waxing. So, for everyone out there, hoping to do the same, here's my advice : Start with your mustache! There isn't really much that can go wrong. The lip area allows you to get familiar with the hard wax or any wax for that matter, if this is your first time handling wax.Product Review->Now, on to the relevant information. This product's packaging is tiny as everyone else has said before but if you are only using it for your lip/chin area, there is enough wax for two separate wax sessions. The instructions are a no-brainer. Remove the cap and microwave it for 30 secs, removing and gently stirring followed by 15 sec cycles of microwave heating until the wax becomes creamy. Then apply it to the area you wish to wax, let it sit/get stiff and then pull it out quickly!Although, it sounds easy, it took me a while getting used to handling wax without getting it on my fingers or other places around my face. The good thing however is that, since it is hard wax, you can easily remove it.Now, go get rid of that 'stache and enjoy the process of learning a new skill in these quarantine times !

I have been using this on my face (upperlip and brows) for several years now. I have tried Sally Hanson strips (pre-waxed strips) and a roll on wax from SH. Those were a waste of money for me. I went back to the Surgi-Wax, and will stick with it. Advice to new waxers, do let it cool a little. If it gets too hot it will burn you (as would anything). Also, use a thin layer of prep-oil on your skin before you wax, it can be anything from baby oil to olive oil (which I have used in a pinch). This helps to prevent redness. Also rubbing your skin with a little hair conditioner after you wax helps to soothe the skin. (A trick I picked up from my former stylist). if you happen to get the wax on your fingers, or a part of your face you do not want to wax, use a little oil to remove the wax, it will come right off. (One last thing - Do not wax right before an event, function, dinner out, etc. There will be a red mark on your face unless you wear a lot of make-up - which I do not - or you have a darker skin tone). I have used wax before and never had an issue with it not melting. I first tried the instructions on the bottle and the wax was still rock solid. I then went to full power, instead of medium, and heated it at 30 sec intervals. At 6 min I called it quits, the wax was still the consistency of thick taffy. I wish I had seen that it wasn't available for a refund.

Have been using it for years. Best product for removing hairs over the lip and eyebrows. Does what it is supposed to do. Love the quality and the price. Lasts a very long time. Highly recommend.

So, this stuff is akin to mild torture. I have tried strip less wax in the past and it worked really well. This formula, as soon as it cools enough to latch on to the hair, it becomes so brittle that it fractures into tiny little pieces! So you’re left ripping off one little painful piece at a time. It is worse than plucking each little hair with tweezers because of the time you need to heat up the wax, apply it at just the right temperature (so that it is spreadable, not so hot as it scalds your skin and leaves second degree burns). Plus tweezers don’t leave behind a wax residue on the little baby hairs surrounding the area you waxed. This went right in the trash. I much prefer Sally Hansen formula. Will be not be buying this ever again :-/

I used this wax brand for my face for several years and was absolutely satisfied. Better than the wax strips, very convinient, fast and good results. Used it for my skin upper lips once in month. Bought it again in Amazon and its the same as I used before. So, I am happy.

I was tired of the pre-packaged strips that left most of the hair still on my face (I have dark, thick hair). This is my first experience with a warm wax and it works way better! It's worth the extra effort to microwave and spread it on. I love how I don't have to mess with fabric strips either. This method took off most of the hair - I only had to tweeze out 2 leftover hairs. Make sure it dries enough so that it actually removes the hair but not too much or it's pretty painful.

I love this stuff and have been purchasing for years! I use on eyebrows. Works great, but be careful. Gets super hot (and can melt container), then when it gets cool it gets stringy.

I love this wax, it was sold out ar Sally's so I had no choice but to get it here. It really works great and no messy strips required!

I have it a 2 star because I have to choose a rating, but haven't even tried the product. I'm returning it at my own expense, because whatever refund I get will be worth more than the wax I could get out of this.It should be described as 'travel size'. I know that the information gives the weight/size, but I guess I didn't really wrap my brain around how small it was. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they're hoping will happen, because this is just a useless amount of wax. I could probably do my eyebrows and lips twice. It's my own fault for not realizing the size, but it's in the same or just below the price range as wax containers that have 8-10x the amount of wax!

This is my second purchase and i am in love with this product. It serves the purpose of removing my facial hair wonderfully. Its soo easy to use and I have noticed that less new hair is growing on my face which is very thin. I earlier needed a facial wax every 4th day of the week but after using this product i noe wax once in 10 days. It works wonderfully on thick stubble like hair as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
