Twinkle Star Wild Bird Feeder Hanging for Garden Yard Outside Decoration, Hexagon Shaped with Roof

I bought this feeder to replace one the squirrels broke. This is a nice feeder, but the ledge the birds sit on is too tiny for my Bluejays. The little birds love it. It’s easy to fill and so far the squirrels are leaving it alone. I like the dark green because it seems to blend in with nature nicely.

I purchased the gold and bronze pagoda bird feeders for my back yard and I really like them. They look really nice because the gold and bronze color really compliment each other. The feeders are very easy to fill and they hold just enough seed so I am not refilling them every other day. The part I really like is both feeders have a lip so the seed does not fall out and I find that my birds don't flick the seed out of these feeders like they have done on my other feeders. Finally, you can't beat the price, I paid around $22.00 plus tax for both feeders.

On Amazon this looked pretty impressive, but it's just thin, cheap plastic that I'm sure my squirrel will chew up in a few months time. I will say, from a distance it looks nice. Birds are hit or miss there. Some weeks I fill it up daily. Sometimes I go 4 or 5 days until I fill it. They aren't all competing to be on it like my last feeder.

This is a very nice bird feeder. Easy to fill and hang. Basically, there is little to complain about when talking about this feeder. If I had to complain, it would be about size. Though I speak highly of this product I wish it were a bit bigger. I have some hefty sized birds on my property. The bigger birds seem to struggle a bit when trying to feed. All in all, I would recommend this feeder.

I have to say, it falls far short of my expectations. This feeder feels like something you would find at a 99c store rather than a quality bird feeder.Firstly, the design is quite basic and uninspiring. It comes fully assembled and ready to hang, but the black plastic construction lacks any aesthetic appeal. It simply doesn't add any charm or beauty to my outdoor space. The hexagon shape and inclined roof, although intended to provide shade and protection from the elements, seem flimsy and poorly constructed.The capacity of this feeder is advertised as holding up to 2.15 lb of seeds. While this may sound impressive, the actual functionality is lacking. The seed tray doesn't effectively distribute the seeds, and it often becomes clogged or unevenly filled. As a result, birds struggle to access the seeds, defeating the purpose of the feeder altogether.Moreover, the quality of the materials used is subpar. The twist lock cover, meant to keep the lid securely closed, feels cheap and unreliable. It doesn't provide a tight seal, allowing moisture to enter and spoil the seeds. The clear panels, although intended to make it easy to inspect seed levels, are flimsy and prone to cracking or breaking.In terms of maintenance, the instructions advise checking for insects or fungi weekly and washing with mild soap and water. However, the feeder's construction makes it difficult to clean thoroughly, and I have found it challenging to remove accumulated debris or residue effectively.Considering the price I paid for this bird feeder, I expected a much higher level of quality and functionality. Unfortunately, it feels like a cheap, mass-produced product that lacks durability and aesthetic appeal. I would not recommend this Black Plastic Classic Bird Feeder to anyone looking for a reliable and visually pleasing addition to their bird-watching experience.

I have ordered other bird feeds, but this one is the best one so far. I even had a raccoon on it the other night which I wasn’t a little surprised to see, but it didn’t tip over. It’s very strong and the wire that hangs from it is a very good secure wire.

It even held on tight during Hurricane Milton

So, this is okay for a bird feeder. However, we had a bunch of marauders (aka Trash Pandas) discover this on the post in the back yard. Needless to say they snapped the post in half and the Twinkle star is no more. Trash Pandas 1 - Twinkle star 0

It's a good little feeder, holds quite a bit of seed. Thin plastic...will see how it holds up in the winter, but have a feeling the brittle plastic will break. Decent value for the money

Arrived broken, I am expected to pay to return it.

Nice feeded, easy access to fill with seed. Have had a few birds and unexpected was a Blue Jay feeding from the feeder.

The build is not very sturdy, and I had to "refit" the bottom part to the transparent part, but so far so good. I live near the ocean, so I wanted to avoid any feeder made out of metal, but this one may not last very long!
