Dap 10100 Wallboard Joint Compound, White , 3-Pound

I used this for an art piece, and it worked great. The price was good, the material is good, and I will use it again. It set rather quickly which was appreciated as I needed to paint over it by day's end.

Works fine, but I opened the container, scooped some out and started going to town, only to realize later that the top portion of the container was of different consistency than the rest. It was white, frosting-like. I had never used this product before and assumed that was just the way it was. But, no. It was the predictable consistency and texture after mixing it all up, just like that other more widely known brand. No indication on the container about having to mix it. In the end, the patch came out fine regardless, but it would have been nice to have known that this "pre-mix" container needed to be remixed prior to use.

Got this twice, one had water pooling at top. Had to pour it out, then mix it up. Then could use. 2nd one came ready to use. So think theyre being stored weird. Both were usable just needed to mix one up. Very sandable. I used to patch holes in wall, then primed and painted over. No issues.

I am SO GLAD I bought this. I had to replace a sizeable piece of drywall in my house and i needed this. Made doing the work very easy.

Works better than expected. Dries up quick but you can lay it down nicely and smooth. Definitely recommend. Came out a bit dirty in the bag but didn’t spill too much. Wish it had a better seal
