Update: with the oldest about a year old, three of the four units stopped working with the pump having gone bad. These are inexpensive enough that I would not mind purchasing a new reasonabley priced pump once a year, however they do not sell replacements pumps for these. Connected support and they offered to send replacement pumps, twice, but we never received them. Cannot recommend.Original: We now have four of these, the oldest just about 6 months old and have had no issues so far. The low water notification and water change reminders are extremely helpful in reminding our children to make sure the pets have water. Setup has been easy using the Smart Life app, even notifying of updates.Only complaint would be that I would prefer that the top hold some water when not running so that if it shuts off some water is still available, however this has not been an issue so far.

Edit: they contacted me and sent me a brand new one that is working until today. I am hopeful that this one will last!—————-I love the fact that is always filtering the water. But the pump is weak. I only put filtered water for my westies because they have sensitive stomachs. So it does not have a lot of work in the filtration really, I clean constantly, the pump and the container and its layers; which are hard to remove but not impossible if you have very sturdy slim crooked tools to remove them from its place.But finally, I bought mine in March 2021 and now is October 2021, the pump stops working by itself with no warning and I have to reset it constantly. And consequently my westies stay without water for a bit until I see what is happening.Well, the whole idea of buying this was so I would be warned when the water was low. I am disappointed, it is not helping if there is water but the pump does not work.I have a bunch of consumables for it and I am torn to see if I buy another one or throw them away.

Product worked well for about a month when the port that plugs the power source into the unit was broken. We accepted responsibility for that and reached out to the company asking if they can replace the part for us, even if we need to pay for it. They asked for a picture, so I sent it to them, and then crickets. Nothing. I guess we’re just out the money we spent.

We have to even had this for a year and the pump is starting to go out in it, sometimes it will pump the water out and sometimes it doesn't. We change the filters when needed and take good care of it. Not very happy with it since it hasn't been a year since we got it.

It stays online without any issues. The only problem is that it doesn’t have multiple memory record times to dispense the water. And the water doesn’t stay fresh with the filter no more than 5 to 6 days. I think it should definitely be longer for freshness with the filter. I give this product exactly 4 stars

It's been 7 months I've had the unit and the pump has died, I cannot find any replacements for it. Another thing is that the filters was surrounded by plastic and it ends up in the landfill, a more eco friendly filter would be better. Trying to take the unit apart to clean is like trying to pull apart 2, 5 gallon buckets when stuck. It did cut down with the mess my dogs who slosh water everywhere. Unfortunately not having the option to replace the pump I've decided to go with another unit that does have replacement pumps and more eco friendly filters and is comparable in price.I bought this to help stop the water everywhere with my bigger dogs and it has worked great. I have to clean it at least once a week because we have 3 slobber buckets, its easy until you have to wrestle getting the power plug back in. After a month it isn't reading the water level correct. I wish they made one that was a little bigger for Lg. dogs.

As odd as it seems, we have a dog that drinks too much water....to the point of diluting his kidneys. We needed a solution for being able to give the dog water when we aren't home since we can't just leave a bowl of water down for him, or he will drink endlessly. This dispenser allows us to fill it with a measured amount of water, use the app to turn the water flow off and on while we are out, giving him water throughout the day without him being able to drink all of it at once. It's probably not the reason that the product was developed, but it was a great solution for us. We were a bit wary of what the quality of the product would be based on the very reasonable price, but it's been great so far and we've had it for a month. Setting up the app was also easy since my non-techy husband had no issues with doing it. Another concern was the fact that our dog is 140 lb. Mastiff, and not knowing if the drinking area would be too small for his giant head/mouth. He does splash the water out a bit while he is drinking from it, but he is all too happy to then lick up the water off the floor around it. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the product.

I actually loved it once I finally got it connected on a 2.5 wifi. It holds enough water for pup for 2 days which is great. I have only had it for like a month and the pump is no longer worker. I have taken it apart, cleaned it, and still no luck. I work long hours and was hopeful for this to ease the stress of giving my dog water through out the day but I guess not. Also even when it did work the pump stops pushing out water when there is still a good amount of water in it. So you basically have to refill it one it reaches a level of 30%. I reached out to the manufacture. Waiting for a response. In the photo you see that the water level indicator shows that it is basically full but no water is coming out.

Me encanto el diseño y la ventaja de poder controlarla por medio de su App y automatizar su funcionamiento, desafortunadamente su App nativa no funciona si no se actualiza el Firmware primero, tuve que utilizar otra App (Smart Life) que es mejor y tiene más funciones como agregar diferentes horarios de encendido y apagado y no solo uno como la app nativa, también configuras la intensidad de la Luz y lo principal te permite actualizar el firmware. El otro detalle que no me gusto es que los filtros no existen y no los encuentro por ningún lado, tendré que comprar genéricos y adaptarlos.

Ok so I waited a few months to do review as I have purchased so many water fountains and none worked out but I LOVE THIS ONE! I have 3 cats and 2 are Maine Coons that are notorious for playing in water ie water bowls and getting everywhere! This just has a stream of water that runs down and doesn’t pool. One tried to pat it around but it didn’t last long as it’s just a trickle of water.It’s quiet and sooo easy and quick to clean and take apart! I love the app too! It tells me how much water is in there/left, quality of the water and it tracks the time when we need to change water as well as the filter. You can also program the fountains running time if you don’t want it running all the time. All my cats use it.The only thing I wasn’t as thrilled about was it’s not stainless steel however my cats have had no problems and no acne has occurred.Like I said I have bought about 5 and this one is the best for us, so glad we finally found this one!

Lasted one year (bought January 2020) - I think the power supply or the pump started having issues. My cats loved it while it lasted though

Do not buy! Stopped working after 30 days and no customer support.
