PyramexSafety Intruder Reader Bifocals Clear Frame with Clear Lens (3 Pair) (Clear + 2.5 Lens)

I am a long distance motorcyclist. Been looking bifocal safety glasses to wear under helmet. I was surprised how hard it is to find a pair that didn't dig into side of head. Some are pretty comfortable but after 5-6 hours on the road they start to dig in above & behind ears and cause headaches. Need truly flat-flex arms for long term comfort. Some were flat but if they are stiff they will dig in - these are really flexible I was so desperate that I almost shelled out $200 before I found these: 3 for $12.Yes- they are "cheap safety glasses" but they are just simple plastic so they are durable and if they eventually snap - I got more pairs in the saddle bag (haven't snapped yet).Oh BTW - they do have clear visibility with little to NO distortion.Sometime "Cheap" is the best solution.

I had double eye surgery for cataracts and needed reading glasses with the readers cut in the right place, wrap around, and very clear, non distorting, and true to color lenses, for my perfect distance vision, as well as for reading. Regular reading glasses, bi-focals, and progressive type readers just did not provide the type of excellent walk around and driving vision with an instant capacity to read, as these do. These do not cause dizziness, imbalance, or any type of disorientation as was the case with some of the other products that I had tried.They are light,comfortable, built well enough for the money, and they are so comfortable that I have to touch them to verify that I am wearing them. After spending a lot of money on other solutions, these prove to work best for me and I am ordering more. They even work better than prescription readers that I had cut by a professional eyeglass laboratory as the reading parts of these glasses are much better placed and I don't need to cock my face higher and to look down my best g nose to read with them as I had to with the expensive eye lab pair. I highly recommend this glasses for casual wear and to protect the eyes when shooting or working tools one project.

Good fit, good quality, bifocal good

After having lenses fall out of expensive safety glasses, I opted for these. the lens area, including the reader portion is a single piece. Considering that I'm pretty hard on safety glasses (scratches, broken hinges from frequently taking them on and off), I'm glad I've got three at a reasonable price. They tend to fit snugly so for me they fog up on a hot and humid day.

These safety glasses are very comfortable - I purchased them more for the bi-focal to see were to cut using power saws - but the bi-focal is so low that you cannot use them for power equipment - might be ok for reading but then why need safety glasses??

These are very light weight, and somewhat flimsy. However, they serve their purposes. It’s nice to wear these and be able to read the mixing directions on fertilizer or surfactants, and not have to run into the house to grab a pair of readers! Because they are so light weight, I don’t think they will last long. The arm on one pair is crooked, and I’m afraid to try to bend it back into shape. But, for the price, I felt like I got a good deal. I would recommend, but probably not for long term use.
