Great Kettle!
I saw this little kettle being designed and manufactured on NHK's Artist x Designer TV show and was delighted to find it for sale here on Amazon. The quality is excellent, which is good, since it's pretty pricey. It is smaller than I expected, holding 1 quart of water, but it takes up less space on my stove and doesn't sit there with lots stale water in it. The wooden handle and knob make it easy to handle and the flat bottom means it heats water very quickly. A clean, refreshing design.

Splurged on this unique little kettle
It looks cool and feels pretty well made. A bit smaller than what I envisioned but it holds enough water for my needs. It’s not obvious when the water is boiling, so I usually set a timer for 8-9 minutes to start checking on it. I’m not 100% happy with the handle. It feels a bit cheap and flimsy compared to the kettle itself, especially given the high price. Still, I’m happy I got it.

Very beautiful and functional.
I really love the way this kettle looks. I will admit that you should treat this kettle a bit tenderly. Mine has a small chip in one spot. However, I have figured out how to avoid this by being gentle with it. I do not use a gas stove so that could be an issue for others. However, it is lovely and I really enjoy the aesthetic!

A nice simple design
I think this tea kettle is a lovely classic design. It is also beautifully detailed and the craftsmanship is excellent. There are other modern designs in the market that are perhaps more sophisticated... for example Aldo Rossi's iL Conicomade by Alessi, but personally I could not justify paying two or three times more for a design by a big name designer.Like another reviewer, I first saw the designer and fabricator of this tea kettle featured on NHK World, the Japanese public broadcastingchannel... which I also recommend.

Company refuses to stand behind product
The kettle is nicely designed and very attractive. Unfortunately, the enamel can come off the inside, exposing the metal, and begin rusting within a few months of just warming clean water. When we reached out to the company, they refused to stand behind their product. It's disapointing to see the lack of quality, but especially, the lack of honor in businesses today.

Beautiful and functional
I love this kettle. The only thing is you need to be mindful to have a potholder nearby as the handle can get hot.

Simple and beautiful design
This kettle is simple and elegant. It is small, but as a person who often makes coffee and tea for myself alone, it is the perfect size. The inside, though you will not get to admire this as often, is beautiful with a deep royal blue speckled glaze. Love this kettle!
