Canon EF 24-105 mm f/4L is USM Zoom Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras

Excellent Lens. Little on the heavier side. Using it with Canon EOS 600d. First few clicks were not extraordinary but the quality kept on improving on usage. Of course, this is nothing to do with the lens.

superb build and optical quality. The zoom and focus rings are smooth and the entire lens feels nice and handles even better,superb picture quality as expected from L-series lens. Must have lens in kit.

One of the best economical L series lens. Gives good result. I am happy to own it. Has good zoom range.

Good lens, use external flash in low light situations.

I am using this lens more than three years, built quality and images are excellent, really worth for the money

24-70 is better

Have owned it for around a year on my canon 70D and 6D.....build quality id good...image quality is only okay for the price..usability is good except for the wide angle view on crop sensor...for full frame it covers a descent range..image sharpness and the pixels it provides are much low for an L lens on a cropped sensor...on full frame it provides it provides descent sharpness and pixels count...the color and contrast is good on both sensors..but the light transmission is pretty low...you have to go for a double lower shutter speed or double high ISO to get the same brightness compared to other L lenses like 24-70 f4..distortion and vinetting are are high on full frame at wider end and lower apertures...the better lens for lower price that this for cropped sensor is the 15-85mm USM lens and the 24-70mm f4 for full frame..
