I am a freelance writer who is in the midst of writing my nonfiction book. I was diagnosed with ADHD many years ago. In my own experience, there are pros and cons with traditional stimulant medication. As a mother of three children who also have ADHD, I can vouch that I've tried EVERYTHING to help my kids and myself with our ADDer challenges. I began taking one 100 mg twice daily. (One in the morning & one in the afternoon.) Then I would get to work and start writing. I have experimented with taking two supplements twice daily and the results are even better.The most amazing thing happened...I had clearer thinking, inspiration, motivation, more focus and increased attention. It was GREAT! One chapter after another was completed and I am currently finished with twelve chapters. I'm drawing closer to my dream...becoming a published author. I didn't like that the safety seal was broken. So there are two seals - the outer plastic that seals the bottle and then the paper seal on top of the bottle but under the cap. I'm referring to the one under the cap. I decided it could have been because it wasn't glued 100%, but I didn't like having to question it. I am taking them because I'm a bit desperate since I have an important test coming up, but had it not been for the test, I probably would've returned. I'll submit an update on the actual quality of the pills once I have noticeable effects. So far on day 3 and nothing yet. Thanks!UPDATE - 6 days later. WOW! Amazing. This really works. I think the fact that it lowers cortisol helps significantly. I went on a job interview and had ZERO anxiety. Plus I've been taking practice exams and have NO anxiety, plus can remain focused. The only thing that it has done that I don't like is make me very relaxed haha so I have to consume a little more coffee to get that extra kick of energy. However, it's also helped with my insomnia. I've been taking 300mg throughout the day, but may decrease to 200mg because it's incredibly effective.

I am a huge fan of PS, and have recently tried many other brands with not the same results as I once had when I took it many years ago. This one is a little more expensive and I expect the other brands work well for other people ,but my main concern was the inert ingredients, or what is the subsrate that the PS is mixed with. That seemed to be my biggest problem. I won't go into all the various "extraneous" ingredients, but there were many. You may note that if you do a search on serine on Amazon, this product is on the 4th or 5th page. You have to seek diligently to look carefully at what is included with the serine. A lot of them have a "phospholipid complex," which is code for phosphotodylchole and other lecithin based ingredients. I learned a long time ago that an choline supp worsens my biological and familial propensity for depression. This product only has serine and glycerin. You will feel the pure surge of only serine with this product. It is well worth it. Olympian Labs is also one of the most highly respected brands on the market, and I know as a one time worker at a supplement store.

As my husband and I age, our memory has become more forgetful. This product has really helped with that for both of us! I also like this particular brand as it has no soy in it.

I’ve tried this supplement from a few other brands. Many don’t work, especially the solids or powder filled pills. This is a gel filled pill. It seems to work the best considering the price. I like that it is not soy derived like many of the other brands. I fall asleep shortly after taking it and most nights stay asleep. I also take a Melatonin prolonged release to stay asleep as well. I can’t say that I need both for sure but I wake up refreshed so I figure why not.

Take only this brand and the sun comes out and my brain fog clears up. Now take two first thing in the morning 30 minutes before I eat. At 83 years am fully capable of caring for heavy duty matters. Take only Olympia Labs brand from them. Fresh and it works so well. Different brands work differently others have told me. Have taken it every day since 2006. Will up the amount should I feel slowed down and muddled. Some times take it with food if in a hurry in the morning. Never take late in day as for me too much energy. Don't want to disturb my sleep

Could be helpful, I'm not sure. On its own tho....I don't know. I was taking it for inappropriate cortisol spikes in the middle of the night, but I also have Restless Legs Syndrome and a flare up of Chronic Fatigue/ Fibromyalgia (due to a family tragedy of which I will not speak here) so maybe it was not good enough ON ITS OWN. I have found that I need some other things to counter those issues. Magnesium citrate, B complex, Pantothenic acid and vitamin C have helped more so. But try it for yourself.

I make sure to take one in the morning at breakfast & another at dinner. I sense the clarity I need.
