Durable, Precise, and Built to Last – I Love This Sprinkler!
After using the Orbit 58573N H2O-6 Gear Drive Sprinkler for the past three weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best sprinklers I’ve ever purchased. In a time when so many products feel cheaply made, this sprinkler stands out for its solid construction and quality materials. It feels like a unit that’s built to last—and I expect it will. The spray settings are incredibly intuitive and easy to adjust, giving you a wide range of flexibility to tailor your watering exactly how you want it. That level of control is a game-changer, especially for those of us who like things just right (fellow OCD folks, you know what I mean). In short, I absolutely love this sprinkler. It performs flawlessly, feels durable, and is easy to use—everything I could ask for in a garden tool. Highly recommended!

Best Sprinkler Head on the Market
Love these orbit sprinklers. The metal spikes are strong and don't bend like some others I've tried. They sometimes get a bit sticky on their rotation but that's usually because I moved it and pushed on the head. If you find that happens, just tap the head and it will keep spinning. I had some tripods for other brands and was surprised to find that I could just unspin them and these mounted in perfectly after removing the stake. Great design, super functional and sprays better than most. You can turn the main assembly to change spray types and then the very top piece also spins and lets you set the spray pattern. Smart engineers. I have 8 of these for our 1/4 acre yard and they are my go to from here on out!

Good Value Sprinkler with a Few Quirks
I bought 4 of these and for the most part, they work really well. Setup is very simple, and I like that you can easily adjust both the type of watering and the distance. A nice bonus is that they allow for daisy chaining—I have 3 linked in a row, and that setup works great for covering a larger area. The only downside is that 1 of mine went bad after about 2 months. It still works but doesn’t always rotate correctly. When first turned on, it will do a full rotation, but then it sometimes gets stuck at one end and stops oscillating. A bit frustrating, but the other 3 are still going strong. Overall, for the price, I’d still recommend these. They cover well, are easy to install, and have solid watering capacity. Just keep in mind that durability might be hit or miss.

Do a great job
These sprinklers are excellent. My wife has two flower beds that require several moves to cover them all with sufficient water. Set these in the ground, hooked up a hose between them, and was able to adjust each so all she has to do is turn on the water and both beds are watered sufficiently at the same time. They do a great job.

Forget expensive professional irrigation systems!
I was becoming distraught - the same parts of my lawn died every summer. Then, after aerating/overseeding and reseeding those dead areas in the fall, I was forced to drag around a muddy hose and sprinkler for three weeks. Well no more! I bought four of these things. Three are permanently placed with their own dedicated hose (that is hidden by bushes) placed just off the grass and away from the lawn mowers - and preset to the spraying pattern I need. The fourth is a “floater” that I use on problems areas on the opposite side of the driveway where it wouldn’t make sense to leave a hose. Now, I have a better lawn and saved thousands versus a finicky, fragile professional system that wastes water. I turn in on only when I need it, I can lightly water reseeded areas, and I bring it in during the winter - all for the under $300 for a .6 acre lawn - including hoses and one Y connector. These sprayers are quiet and sturdy. They have six main settings and each has three sub settings. With adjustable horizontal control, I can customize the coverage for any lawn dimension. Ok, they drip a bit (tip: make sure the hose is attached well and the daisy chain cap is tight) but it’s not enough to puddle. I can run three at a time with only a minimal drop in spraying distance. I rarely need to run all four. The only downside: beating myself up for not thinking of this solution sooner! Duh…

Fine for smaller yards, struggles in a breeze.
It works as described but definitely for smaller yards. The description says, "Achieve up to 80 feet in diameter and cover 5,026 square feet, perfect for large lawns and gardens." I could not achieve that. Maybe half. And if there's a breeze, it struggles.

Excellent!!!
I recently purchased the Orbit 58573N H2O-6 Gear Drive Sprinkler (Sprinkler on Spike), and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This sprinkler has truly transformed my lawn care routine, making watering both efficient and hassle-free. The gear-driven mechanism ensures even and consistent water distribution across my entire yard, preventing both dry patches and overwatered spots. I appreciate the adjustable spray patterns and the ability to control the distance and coverage area, which allows me to customize the watering to suit different parts of my garden. Installation was a breeze—thanks to the sturdy spike design, it stays securely in place, even with high water pressure. The build quality feels durable, and it has withstood various weather conditions without any issues. Overall, the Orbit 58573N H2O-6 Gear Drive Sprinkler is an excellent investment for anyone looking to maintain a lush, healthy lawn. I highly recommend it to both novice and experienced gardeners alike.

I've tried so many sprinklers over the years, putting them in series with additional identical units, and every time I've put a 2nd sprinkler, neither would work because the water pressure would drop too low. I had found some "ok" cheap sprinklers last year and they were fine until a leaf or blade of grass fell into the mechanism and then it wouldn't ocellate. I started with 2 of these, and was amazed at how easy they were to set up and putting them in series actually worked as expected! So I ordered 5 more and have my entire yard surrounded in zones with a wifi timer that I can adjust from my phone. I love the "vert" setting with some misting action for maximum coverage. It throws far, and there's no chance of a leaf interfering with the movement! YES, there's a minor leak because of the misting setting, but it's not a problem. AND.. The same (or similar) sprinkler at Home Depot is 2x as much.
