Pretty good; quality needs some attention
Good: Bright in all colors. Wired on both ends of the tape, one male & one female connector. Comes with a spare M connector in case you have to cut and daisy-chain it. Ran cool in my initial 30-minute test. Tape on back sticks well (but see below.)Bad: The double-sided tape on the back is not applied correctly; every foot or so there is a 2-3 inch span where the light tape lifts off the sticky tape, requiring you to cut the sticky tape to make it lay flat and leaving un-stuck stretches. It didn't matter much for my application, but would have if I'd used this for e.g. under-cabinet lighting.Bottom line: The product itself seems pretty good, although I haven't done a proper burn-in test yet. The sticky-tape issue, however, turned a straightforward application into a difficult, tedious job. Five stars, but the sticky-tape thing came very close to costing it that fifth one.

Perfect for my needs
After initial testing, this is an excellent product. I bought 5 different styles of LED strip to test out in order to find which ones I wanted to use for my house lighting. This strip outperformed all the others that I bought in every way. It's very bright, the colors are very nice, and the warm white is very pleasant. Also, because it uses the 4 in 1 LEDs, all LEDs on the strip are always lit up evenly whether you have it set to a pure white or a mixed white or a pure color or mixed color. This is important because my preference is for a finished project with LEDs that aren't noticeable, and to be, rather, strips of even diffuse light.I haven't adhered them to anything yet, but because I'm using aluminum channel with diffuser covers, I may not even be able to tell how well the adhesive performs very accurately, so I am not leaving any rating for the adhesive. The 24v strip has the further advantage over an equivalent 12v strip of having less voltage drop per given length of strip due to lower current, and lower current makes everything easier in the long run, by allowing smaller gauge wire to power each strip vs the same length wire run for 12v. For my applications, concealment of wires leading to the led strips is important, so being able to use a smaller gauge wire is great, even if the difference is minimal. I would say that for large projects, the requirement of a relatively high current output 24v power supply is harder to acquire than a 12v supply, particularly because I had already planned on using an HP 1200w server power supply, but ultimately it just means I have to use two 12v server PSUs in series, which is not really a bother. Please note, I don't advise using power supplies in series unless you are confident in what you are doing, as wiring something like those server PSUs in series without removing the ground on the AC power cords is a quick way to convert the power cords into magic smoke.

This is Nice Stuff
I needed LED light strips for under and above kitchen cabinet lighting. I originally bought and returned a different brand. Then I bought the BTL brand LED light strips and was immediately satisfied. When you are installing light strips, the ability to cut and shorten it to suit your project is important. This BTL product had cut points that repeated every 4 inches. The cheaper stuff I originally bought had cut points every 9.75". Multiples of 4" is much more useful than 9.75" when fitting it into a short place. The light strips have VERY strong adhesive so it sticks in place very well. The only difficult thing is trying to get the blue plastic backing tape off the sticky part - it takes some patience. Maybe BTL could leave a small tap so it was easier to get started. They were very bright and have full colors plus white. In any case, you can't go wrong with this product, in my opinion.

Nice, inexpensive RGBW LED strip
Used for undercabinet lighting and installed these in tracks with a diffuser. Soldering to the strip is tricky, and the copper pads are VERY fragile. Several of the individual R G B W DC+ pads pulled off with the wires even though I handled them gently. I ended up trimming the strip a little more, then soldered wires and used a glue gun to help hold the wires and pads on. That seemed to work OK. Also, there seems to be a slight difference in LED spacing where the manufacturer's splice is made mid strip ... it is subtle, but noticeable. Overall, a decent bargain, bright, and reliable so far.

These work well, perfect 3000K white color, but blue isn't blue, and solder joint spacing is off
Pros:-Everything about this strip works, physically.-The silicone jacket is a perfect fit in the channel.-Light level from LED to LED is consistent.-3000K warm white is actually 3000K warm white. In fact, a very good warm white with no weird green overtones.Cons:-Each LED has a cavity for the red, green, and blue chips, and a separate cavity for the phosphor white. The blue chip is next to the white cavity, and without a light barrier between cavities, any blue light causes the phosphor in the white cavity to fluoresce into a constant mix of blue and white (and very small amounts of red, since 3000K includes red). The blue is never a deep royal blue. It's more of a lavender sky blue, and any color mixed with it (such as purple or magenta) becomes a whitish version of that color. I have other 5050-sized RGBW chips with the same design that don't do this, so these LEDs are cheaper knock-offs. Red, green, and warm white are fine, so this is a big disappointment.-The spacing between LEDs isn't exactly the same as the spacing between LEDs at a solder joint. Some people won't notice it, but I can see it. If I stand beyond 10 feet away, I can see groups of 18 LEDs. Somebody designed an extra 1-2mm into the spacing on each side of each physical strip, and it actually made it into production.I should work in their pre-production review department, because both of these flaws are easily fixed and really detract from an otherwise nearly-perfect product. It deserves only three stars because a company like BTF should have noticed and corrected it.I'm now looking for strips containing separate white and RGB LEDs.
