High Temperature Tech Rock Wool Embers for Gas Fireplaces/Gas Logs- 6oz Bag

I saved so much money buying from Amazon instead of local yard and garden center. This makes your fire looks so real and flickers. Just takes a small amount for each fireplace. One bag did 3 fireplaces.

Bought this to replace some old rock wool that was getting brittle and turning to dust. This is a great product and burns well with a great look of embers. There is enough in the bag to replace every year for 5 years. Well worth the price for a fireplace refresh.

I followed the directions to use an N95 mask and to wear disposable gloves. The product goes a long way with the instructions to use dime-sized pieces. The "embers" that came with my gas log set had disintegrated over the last three years, so this product will replace them. I have not used the gas logs much since using this product except to turn them on for a quick look. The "embers" enhance the illusion of a real log fire. I had no idea what the "embers" were made of until I found this product on Amazon.

I would like the product except I think the way my logs are, no matter how I place the wool or how much i use (tried not to use alot), it just isn't visible unless you stick your head in the fireplace (not advisable). Then I can see it looks really nice. So, while I think it's a good product, it just isn't working so great in my instance. Not the products fault.

Fantastic fireplace embers! The bag has clear instructions on how to install and what PPE you should use (definitely wear disposable gloves). Our usual fireplace guy has retired and I always saw him swap out embers after cleaning everything. We felt comfortable doing our own cleaning and refreshing the embers absolutely makes sense because they do get dusty over time. At this price you will have what you need and some to share! Just place the embers over the burner plate holes and enjoy!
