Great golf shoe -- Bought 3 pair
I don't like wearing shoes with heels, partly because of comfort and partly I think it's unnatural. Heels on shoes are like men's ties -- a dumb fashion statement. Until recently, I wore custom-made golf shoes with no heels, but the price of these just kept skyrocketing. So I started looking for less expensive alternatives. First, I tried the True Linkswear golf shoes, which were OK, but not totally comfortable. Then I bought the Vivobarefoot hybrid. They were a perfect fit and extremely comfortable right out of the box and very light -- about eight ounces. These shoes were like playing . . . well, barefooted. Lack of a heel gives me better balance when swinging a golf club. These hybrids also have a wider toe area, so when you lean forward, your toes are not jammed together -- they spread naturally and comfortably. And the studs on the Vivibarefoot hybrids provide terrific grip, especially when the fairways are wet. Living in Las Vegas allows me to play golf year-round and these hybrids wore well in the desert cold. I was a bit concerned they might be too warm for the Las Vegas summers where temperatures reach 115F, but wearing a lighter sock was the solution. Even though there is nothing physically wrong with my first pair -- they wore extremely well after 12 consecutive months of use despite my 270 pounds -- I thought I would get a second pair just to keep in the closet for that day when the first pair wore out. When I noticed Vivobarefoot stopped carrying the white-and-black version of the hybrid and only sold a totally black version, I shopped for the white-and-black version on Amazon. Much to my surprise, I found Amazon had them on sale at a price so low that I bought all three pair that were being offered in my size. I am a happy golfer.

Best barefoot style golf shoe on the market
Best barefoot style golf shoe on the market. Coming from Truelinks shoes i would like some padding in the heel/collar for added comfort (and maybe keep my socks little drier).

Paradigm shift in my footwear universe
I hit barefoot at the range one day and was surprised how much more balanced my swing felt. Went online and realized these shoes exist. Took a day to get used to the lack of heel and thin sole, but now I am thinking of switching out all my shoes for these. I really like being able to feel the contours and texture of the ground when I am walking.

... that we were born to walk bare foot but like the feel of it on natural grass (for golfing)
Not sure I believe that we were born to walk bare foot but like the feel of it on natural grass (for golfing).I have added orthotics/insert (from a drug store.. not prescription) for extra cushion as there is very little of it in these shoes.

Love these shoes
I don't go a single day without somebody asking where I got the cool shoes. They are so comfortable. I had my first pair for over a year...and I just got a second pair while I could still find them!

Great Buy
These are one of the best models that Vivobarefoot sell. I wanted a pair that looked smart to wear to work, and had previously bought the Vivobarefoot Ra model. The Ra still looked quite strange as the toe box is so wide and puffy that it looks like a flipper. So I thought I'd try these at the special offer price of £35.Apart from the white hexagonal symbols on the rear and side, the shoe looks great (like a normal shoe) and has a good grip (for golfing, although I only ever play Top Golf - and then only once in a while).Feels very comfortable too, although I find Vibram Fivefingers to be much more comfortable, but I can't wear them for daily use because they look so strange with the separate toe boxes.

Good fit and comfortable
Good fit and comfortable, however not ideal in morning dew or wet as too low to stop socks getting wet.

Best shoes that I ever bought
I've been wearing Vivo's for the last four to five years now, they have slowly (about a year of wearing - verses 10+ years of life without) and surely helped the collapsed arch I was suffering from. Since this return to being able to stand without pain for durations', I find myself looking to purchase these shoe whenever.A great pair of shoes, if like me you have problems standing for periods of time, then this brand of shoe COULD be the answer!
