I bought this for my dad. He loves it. I bought him a plastic one and it only lasted seven months. So I decided to get him one that was made of something more durable. He loves this one much better. He said the length is perfect and it is wider than the other. His only complaint about the plastic shoehorn was that it was too narrow. This one is wider and works better for him. Get this one.

We had purchased a long shoe horn at a brick and mortar store which worked once before breaking. It was cheap in more ways than one. Went to Amazon and did a search. We chose this one based on one we had used at a home we were visiting. When I found this one on Amazon, my decision was made. It costs more, and worth every penny and then some. A lesson well learned ... you get what you pay for! Used this new shoe horn again this morning and was all smiles. No bending over or fighting with the shoe horn itself. Another thing to note. This is one piece. Extremely durable - PERIOD! Love it and thank you!

I like the length and that my foot slides right in, very smooth! Metal could be just a tiny bit thicker.

This is a very sturdy shoe horn. Highly recommend for those that use it to help reach down to pick up a shoe. No, it is not a cane and cannot support full body weight, but it does assist whereas others just fold in half.

It's long and metal so that's what is MOST IMPORTANT - as you need it to be long and you need it to not be plastic as it has to be thin but strong. The only problem is it may be a tiny bit too thin, as it BENDS at the bottom. I guess that might be a feature though, as it ends up conforming to how you use it, but that's the ONLY reason I didn't give it a five star rating. I don't think it's SUPPOSED to bend, is it?Anyway, it's long and that's good. And it's steel. And that's good. The hook-like end is great for HANGING on things (like door openings or overhanging shelves) as I tend to use it outside when I'm putting on my boots so I hang it on the outside overhanging lamp. That little hook ends up being a nice feature too.

I bought this because my other long shoe horns have small curved ends that feel like they dig into my heel when I use them. This one doesn't as end is wider so easier to use. Thought it was a little expensive but it's all metal and very sturdy so I guess you get what you pay for.

I like the all metal, one piece design. The length is great for me at 5'-6". I have had a back fusion and lost a lot of flexibility. This not only helps to get shoes on, but I also use it to remove my socks, use the hook to pull open drawers that are too low to bend over to reach. When you have a back condition similar to mine items such as are very handy for multi purpose.

Very smooth and easy to use. Foot slides right in the shoes or sneakers. No more bending.

Llego en tiempo y forma. Excelente calidad. Por sus medidas no es necesario agacharse mucho para ponerse el calzado, mido 1.80 cm y tengo problemas leves con la espalda, me ha ayudado mucho. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

With a stiff back, this was extremely helpful! Long enough that there was no need for bending over. Very sturdy, well made product.

This is very long and you will not need to bend down to put your shoe on again. It is made of metal and is sturdy. I can stand upright and get my shoes on now.
