Smells awful, but actually worked!
My cat was suffering from seasonal allergies (dry skin in winter). She was scratching so much and so hard that she was tearing her poor face up. Scabs by her ears and nose, which just got worse the more she scratched. I took her to the vet and they confirmed no ear mites, infection, or any other problems besides potential allergy issues. They gave me a cone and said to leave it on until the scabs heal and then see if she still itched (took about 3 weeks). After she healed, within the same day of taking the cone off, she was already scratching herself raw. I was not looking forward to taking her to a special pet vet allergist, so I did some research and decided on this supplement as a last ditch, low cost effort. I read other reviews that said it took about a week of taking it before really kicking in. So I waited a week, took the cone off and voila! She's been taking it for almost 2 months straight now with no recurrence of violent scratching. Her coats is even softer than before! The smell is pretty bad but no worse than the wet food I feed her. I keep mine in the fridge and that helps with consistency and smell. Highly recommend to any desperate pet parent!!!

Not the best thing for your cat
My cat rejected this right away even tried it in her food.....if you have a finicky cat. Don't order this. Plus it stained my cats white fur yellow....plus there is no refund for this item..maybe the vendor knows it won't work...so I'm stuck with this item....

Worth a try if your cat really licks, but mine wouldn't go within 3 feet of them
It seems these are either loved or hated by cats, and unfortunately my cat was in the hate category. He wouldn't go within a few feet of it once I opened it so it didn't help his licking problem. The smell is EXTREMELY strong for the product and it definitely stains clothing, so don't take the advice to wear gloves when dispensing it lightly. Nice packaging and it definitely smells like chicken but unfortunately just didn't work for my cat.

Fantastic for helping coats and skin
I got this for my three cats. They were scratching badly due to fleas. One of my cats apparently has an allergy to fleas as she was scratching herself constantly. I put a pouch each on my girls (cats); they stopped within an hour from constantly scratching. The cat that has the allergy, actually slept for almost two days as she hadn't been able to sleep before the treatment. I've given my girls another treatment a week later and they are doing fantastic. The one with the allergy, I gave two more treatments. She is doing very well. They are all sleeping better, their coats have regained a shine, and their coats are smooth. I highly recommend this product. I put the product in my refrigerator as it has a strong fish smell. The refrigation cuts down on the odor. I am a believer and have reccomended your product to my neighbor. Her dog loves it. Thank you for a great product it has made my cats much calmer. Effective if your cat will eat it
5 stars for Elmer who likes it, minus a star for Stella who won’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. Elmer had skin issues on his ears and tail (bumpy, flaky dry patches, loss of fur) but now his coat is healthy, sleek and gorgeous. One packet every day or two, within a couple weeks, world of difference! Yes it smells bad and stains. One needs to be careful about touching it when squeezing into a bowl. Open with scissors, use a spoon to mix with wet food and wash hands immediately after handling. Problem solved. It’s effective if you can get your cat to eat it. Some specialty stores carry individual packets. Maybe have your cat try one before committing to a box of them.

Stained and non refundable
Do NOT order this. You cannot return or be refunded under policy. My cat hates the smell even plus it didn’t look safe. It was very greasy and it stained my countertop and fingers for 4 days even after scrubbing. Imagine what it would do to your pets digestive tract. Thankfully my cat didn’t eat it

Cat got depressed
I bought this product because I thought my cat was having seasonal allergies which was causing him to overlick his fur off. The product did not smell good, nor would my cat eat it. I had to put it on his arm, which is fine as he licked it off ... some of the time. More often than not though, he flicked it off while running around the house after I put it on him. However, after a week of use, he got very depressed so I had to stop using the product. So I'd rate the product overall a 4/10. Not just because it wasn't useful for my pet, but because of the bad smell and that most of it ended up on the floor from being flung off the cat's arm AND because it made my cat depressed. **Monitor your cat's behavior to check for depression, it is on the box warning label too ** Also the first box I ordered only had 8 packs in it, instead of 10. I contacted the shipper and got a correctly counted box without a problem. Took about 2-3 days. So customer service was great (10/10). -- PS My cat was actually overlicking due to the new a fragrance we bought for our house (a stronger scent than normal with wicks). So if it's not allergies that has your cat overlicking, try removing any new plug-ins or incense.
