Great book If you are coming from the spin off this the conclusion to that...
This turned out to be much better than I thought it would be it's got your typical konosuba wackiness but we get some much needed romantic development between the characters and at the same time it doesn't mess up their dynamic... Yet it show cases their raise in skills and abilities...I would however like to add to criticisms....The first one isn't really tho.. The author states at the end of the book he's not used to writing romance he didn't think he was very good at it so he was gonna back off for a while...I disagree I think the author does a good job at it and should try it more often spices things up and he's got talent there.. Especially for something with so much comedy... like konosuba...2. I've noticed that the author like to write everything mostly in first person aside from dialogue...I don't really like this style of writing don't get me wrong I like the story and the author does a great job at what he does... But using just first person limits how realistic a scene can be...There are a few times scenes where I'll go ahh that would have been pretty funny if it wasn't in 100% Kazuma POV...3. Which brings me to my third point.. Since you are in Kazuma POV most of the book when other characters just start talking you don't really know who just started talking most of the time you think it's Kazuma but sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't .. then the dialogue will shift to the next person.. but you didn't even know who the other first one was.. Then may Kazuma will start talking.... It's just messy..These are just some problems with going full in on the first Person style of writing... I've read that it limits what you can do... and most authors I've seen use a mix of styles some so seamlessly I don't even notice and everything feel natural and vivid.. Here it's kinda shifting of dialogue seems clunky and murky...Though at the end of the book the author switches POV to Megumin I wish he did that more often...At least with the main characters... Or when it's an important scene between to characters....Anyways still an excellent book can't wait til it gets animated...2

A blast as always. EXPLOSION!!!
I just got my copy of the latest Konosuba book yesterday and just finished it. I really love this series. I keep pre-ordering them, hoping that the publish will notice that fans are eager for new volumes. I really wish that Yen On would start getting these out faster. This was new to the US this week, but came out in Japan back in 2016. They're still five or six volumes behind. At least release them every few three or four months until you're closer to be caught up. At least we finally have the Megumin spin off coming up in November.

Another fun adventure
This was a fun read. This is the first time I felt bad for a Demon King General. I wish it could been longer and we could have known more about this Demon King General but I guess it wasn't meant to be for now.In other news it seems like Kazuma is officially settling for one lady. She wasn't my choice but if this is what Akatsuki wants then so be it.Also...Akatsuki was excited to get a second season...congrats on getting a second season lol people loved it.

Another General appears
Good story telling. Yunyun gets more time in this one and Aqua really shines with her skill that throws back to the series beginning. We don't quite get an answer regarding the cat, but verification that Kazuma's laziness is appreciated by a god.
