Bad Rats (with Audio CD)

We love this book. It didn’t even appear used. We are very happy about this purchase.

I had gotten "Bad Rats" along with "It's Me" for my daughter... basically because it was the only book I didn't have by Eric D. I wasn't sure she would like it, BUT to my surprise it is her FAVORITE book by Eric... I also thought she wouldn't like the Audio CD because of the deep voice of the Professor... but she asks to listen to it ALL THE TIME! As an adult it is my favorite book also. In my opinion BAD RATS is the best of Eric's books... if you don't have it you should!

I bought this book as I usually LOVE his books on CD. Unfortunately, the "teacher's voice" and the general "bad rat" theme was a little too dark for my child. I donated it to our local library. Though I don't recommend this book, I highly recommend all of his other books on CD.

Love, love, love these Eric Drachman books. I first borrowed "A frog Thing" from the library. Nap time every day ( at least three times) until I had to return it after three weeks. I own a child care center and have 21 three to five year olds. I looked up Eric Drachman and bought every book that was available on Amazon. My children are thrilled as am I. He is an amazing writer!!

I really like this book and reading it to my toddler. The old teacher rat re-learns from the young rats about the importance of non-conformity and individuality. The illustrations are a little disappointing but the story is great.

This is not only a good book, but it comes along with a CD that reads the story, and incorporates some descent jazz music into the CD that fits nicely into the story being told.

So cute! We love this book and this author. The CD is very well done and the drawings are wonderful.
