Turner acrylic gouache 12 color set school by Turner color

Very pleased with the condition of the paint when they arrived I’m new this type of paint so so in a learning process now good

Update: they're just so smooth and beautiful. Added these to a small 16 well stay wet palette from Transon like a diy himi gouache, but these are way better. No streaks or anything, can get beautiful light washes or smooth opaque layers. Will get the 20ml tubes once I run out of these. So vibrant and delicious and affordable.New to gouache, especially acrylic gouache. Still need to practice and learn blending and more techniques, but they have been fun to use as a wash of color or more opaquely. Love them! Would like to try their regular gouache later on as well for fun. (Insta: @artofpana, I'm a beginner but trying to practice more when I have time).

They’re very opaque which is great. And they do dry and not react to wet over top. However, that means you have to be really careful to use just the right amount on your palette because you can’t rewet and reuse. It even dries so fast that what you squeeze out can dry before you’re finished your piece. It will take a learning curve for sure.

These are nice. Artist rave about these, so I had to try. Nothing to write home about. They are matte, which I appreciate. I will say they have a lot of pigment and that's great for the price.

I bought these hoping to get nice, flat, opaque color, but they are basically watercolors that remain permanent. This is my first experience with acryl gouache so I don't know if a better brand would be different.

This is a great alternative for the other brands

Use them everyday now. Professional grade matte acrylic. Diluted with water but once dry is waterproof. Very smooth, evenly dispersed, application. No texture when dry. If you are looking for that clean “sticker” look these are perfect. If it dries too quickly for you then get the Turner acrylic retarder to increase the working time. I recommend synthetic brushes. Adheres to anything. Great on watercolor paper or canvas. I’m planing a custom skate deck next.

I'm strictly an amateur craftsman, and I'm very happy with these paints. They provide a whole new dimension to my paintings. They are very flat, but don't look awkward after I finish the paintings with an acrylic finish. The paints arrived in eight days -- well ahead of schedule.
