Great sunglasses for outdoor sports.

In 2012 I got my first pair of Frogskins as a gift from a boyfriend. I didn't love them immediately... they looked like cheap gas station sunglasses and wayfarers had a child and named it Frogskins. But they were a gift and they were comfortable, so I wore them. That boyfriend and I broke up a year later. It was a long-distance relationship and I found out he had been cheating. It was painful. I got so annoyed with wearing the glasses he gave me that I actually threw them out of my car and stomped on them. They literally would not break. The arms popped off & the lenses got scratched, but they were still fixable and ready to be good as new. It made me mad at the time, I wanted the satisfaction of smashing them into smithereens. But I also couldn't help but be impressed with their resilience. Time passed and I started dating again. My new boyfriend borrowed my car one day and found them dismembered in the door pocket of my car. He put them back together and casually showed up wearing them. He asked what happened to them and I lied saying that I had accidentally dropped and stepped on them. He seemed proud of himself for fixing my broken glasses. Later, when he wasn't around, I threw them in the trash to be rid of them once and for all. Finally the one lingering reminder of that failed relationship was gone! Over the course of the next few years I bought several other pairs of high-end glasses. Each pair got broken or lost almost immediately. It was like a curse or something, I could not seem to hang on to a pair of glasses. I found myself missing the low-maintenance functionality of my Frogskins. They called out quietly to me,"You took us for granted." they whispered like a ghost haunting me on days with blinding glare reflecting off every surface. Eventually I broke down and bought a brand new pair of Polarized Prizm Frogskins.Here is a list of things I love about these glasses:1. They do not tweak or become lop-sided!2. Since there is no metal hinge, the arms simply pop off and back on if they get "accidentally stepped on".3. They are so light weight! These are the only glasses that don't give me a headache from the weight or fatigue from wearing. (unlike the headache of a cheating bf)4. They don't become loose over time.5. Lenses are easy to replace.6. Polarized + Prizm is the best (as someone who spends tons of time on the water, it's a game changer)They have completely won my loyalty and love, unlike that cheating boyfriend, and I have finally separated the glasses from the man who introduced me to them. The end.

I've only had these for a couple of days and perhaps one should bear that in mind while reading this review.I find these to be an excellent pair of sunglasses: they're extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear. The grey polarized lenses work very well and offer terrific protection for the eyes; moreover, the lenses aren't too dark, so it's possible to wear these indoors while sitting next to the window on a sunny day. The wearer's eyes are visible through the glasses but that doesn't bother me.There's no case, but the pair does come with a (fuchsia) storage bag that's also used to clean the lenses. Even though the frame is made of plastic, the build feels solid and I don't expect to have any issues with durability. For the price (for me the Amazon price was much lower than other retailers), I think this is a great pair of everyday shades, especially with the Polaroid lenses.And, oh yes, they look awesome.

They came in an Oakley box with a hot pink soft drawstring pouch to travel with them in. So if you want a hard case you will have to buy separately. They’re super comfortable and I can’t even explain to you how good they are when wearing during the day. I’m in AZ & the sun is insane but I don’t have to squint anymore while driving. These are the first pair of sunglasses I’ve had that are THAT good. Also, looking at landscape etc is pretty cool because the colors are just so vibrant. I never spent the $ on good glasses before and I’ll never go back to cheap ones after seeing how much of a difference these make. I love them. The torti shell design is pretty, and they are soft to the touch. They don’t feel like hard plastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. Also I’m a girl but they say they’re unisex. I agree they can be unisex, it’s just that they come with the pink colored travel pouch.. or at least mine did. Go buy them! (: (: (:

These glasses look awesome - from the outside, the violet iridium looks great and the matte black frames are a nice touch. Now from the inside, the lenses have a strong bronze tint to them, which I am assuming helps out with contrast. Certain greens seem to 'pop' out against other colors. Another unique feature of lenses is that the outer edges of the lenses seem to be darker (or greener) than the center, which may take a little time to get used to.

They're real Frogskins. Some colors less expensive than others I guess by the demand for that color? Was delivered faster than expected. Came with legit box and Oakley sock. Even a thank you card hand written which was a nice touch. I highly recommend these guys, especially if you can find a good deal.

Lentes muy padres y ligeros. A cierta incidencia del sol o la luz se desaparece el color azul cosa que me gusta, esperaba que cambiará de color de las lentes a morado en las orillas, pero creo que es porque no es lo suficientemente curvo para que esto pase. La construcción puede verse sencilla pero son resistentes y algo flexibles, no como los de acetato, y las bisagras al no ser metálicas se pueden volver a ensamblar en caso de que se desprendan. La bolsita donde vienen los lentes para todos los oakley funciona y es la indicada para limpiar los mismos lentes. Hay ciertos colores que los resalta más gracias a la tecnología Prizm, unque no tanto como los Prizm polarizados que si estan en un nivel superior en contraste y colores. En tamaño son muy similares a los wayfarer de RB. Son Made in USA.
