X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Uncaged Edition - Playstation 3

Even so long after it's release this is still a great game. In all honesty it wasn't in my radar until I played WH40K: Space Marine. I was looking for a similar game with little platforming and puzzles but lot's of action. Wolverine was definitely a more than excellent experience and the level of violence surprised me. This is no Batman with DDR button mashing or Spiderman swinging on thin air. No, this game was made for men, even Kratos would be pleased. You rip your enemies to pieces with your adamantium claws. Watch your flesh heal after being torn off your body. Exact awesome bloody vengeance in your berserker rage without being deterred. This game reminded me of Rambo: First Blood as far as the story is concerned. You hunted your enemies as they hunted you. Alone against an army of elite mercenaries, mutants and more coming after you. There were a few platforming elements and puzzles but nothing that slowed the momentum. The graphics are still great, even when compared to recent releases. Yes, there are some repetitive parts in the game but it's limited to some bosses. So if you enjoy God Of War, WarHammer 40k: Space Marine and/or Transformers: Fall of Cybertron doubt this game no longer. Get it, it's underrated and truly satisfying to play.

I usually stay away from games based off of movies because we pretty much all know that they usually stink! This game is the exception to that rule! Its so fun that I have a hard time putting the controller down! Its def not for kids as its a pretty bloody game as wolverine really puts those claws to work! The controlls are stable and easy to learn, its not just a button smasher either, Wolverine has many different fighting combos that are just awesome! The graphics are good for a game a couple of years old, camera angles are just fine as well. I have about 5hrs into it and it seems that there is alot more story to be told so the game length is good. I can allready see myself playing this game again to find any collectables I might have missed and to get all the power-ups and trophies, so great re-play value as well. I got this game on amazon for like $9.00 so it is def worth the price! Enjoy!

The game played perfectly, but order was running little behind

I ordered a new ps3 game and recieved the original box for game but it was taped and there was a pc cd in it for music and it was scratched and not working .

So many Desreving superheroes have gotten the videogame treatment, only to be put in a horrible money grab hardly worth the attention of any self respecting gamer. But Raven took Logan gave him the claws we all love, the super-healing abilities we all have missed, and actually gives them to you in full glory. Never holding back on the damage those iconic claws would cause. Where other games give you a small tease of this power, wolverines Revenge takes this to another level!! You slash and cut through you'r enemies with all the rage expected and gore needed to really feel like Wolverine!! The damage system is just as impressive, I never tired of ripping enemies to literal shreds while I too was literally ripped to shreds!! At one point I was so severely damaged I was a bloody gory skeleton, seriously a skeleton covered in blood attacking enemies!! Something out of a nightmare!! Then watching my muscles and skin grow back in real time just icing on the cake!! All of this was very cool indeed!! Unfortunately that is about it thats offered. The opening of the game is one of the coolest ( if not the coolest) parts of the game. It is bloody and almost overkill, freaking loved it!! But after this phenomenal opening scene you'r left with shallow lame voice acting and drab graphics that look less than impressive. You can tell alot of care was put into the opening at the sacrifice of the rest. Combat starts off fine but quickly becomes repetitive. After fighting wave after wave of enemies slashing, slashing, slashing and slashing it loses it's appeal. You spend most of you'r time button-mashing and thou there are some combos and "fury" moves to use they don't offer anything for incentive when you'r regular attacks are just as, or even more powerful. The story is all over the place and useing the same areas over and over again is what really frustrated me. After going back to the same bland and dull environment for the forth or fifth time it begins to drag on. Which is another fault, the story is less then gripping but it seems to have been stretched out for filler, I would have preferred they keep it shorter then drag it put to the point it feels just plain boring. And that kinda sums it up, it gets boring and very boring at that. I really appreciate the attention and passion put into this character finally we can tear through enemies and obstacles as only Wolverine can!! The character is done masterfully and I thank Raven for finally doing Logan the justice he desrves! And for not shying away from the Mature rating a hero like Wolverine needs!! If more attention and story was offered here, this could have been a masterpiece! But in the end it is a good effort that falls. I'd recommend a rent or if you'r a fan maybe a buy, but I would recommend in either case a test drive first.

basically it needs a sequel after playing it from beginning to end, my favorite thing about it is it goes beyond The Wolverine you know & gives you the chance to be The Wolverine you know & love before his days as a Xmen, set around his origin from the movie to parts of the Wolverine's universe combined with the movie, his rage is unlike the Hulk. Brutal yet terrifying but only in the eyes of the baddies, He rips, tears, & even slashes his way to the truth of all mutants alike. My favorite part (spoiler alert) is the part where goes on Trask Industries & basically travels this enormous secret government complex with the Grand Canyon but in the Lower Utah region & he is in for a big surprise at the ending of the level a very big surprise lol. I Love this videogame but more importantly i relish every moment of this videogame until i beat it but it's one damn good videogame no other can compete with except SpiderMan & Captain America, except The Hulk but they need to amp things up for him

最近このウルヴァリンX‐MEN0の映画が地上波初登場でやっていてたまたまAmazonでこのゲームがあったので購入しました。 今更ながらですがかなり楽しんでいます。 パッケージのインパクトあるローガン(ウルヴァリン)の表情に魅力を感じています。 今日、届きひたすら3時間程度プレイしたところ…ゴア表現やらグロ表現が激しく最初のムービーのシーンで「うわっ…やり過ぎでしょう」と良い意味で思いました。 中身は結構やりやすくて本編にすぐに没頭出来ます。 操作も簡単だしスキルをどんどん習得していき主人公を強化していく極普通の一本道アクションゲーに見えますが何か違うところがあり他の映画を題材にしたゲームよりかはグラフィックも遥かに綺麗でビックリしました。 敵はワラワラと出現してきて中々手応えもあり(自分はイージーなので簡単でしたが)すが中ボス的な奴はなんだかワンパターンでのアクション攻撃なので物足りない部分もありました。 全体的にアンチャーテッドの風景画に似ていたりゴッド・オブ・ウォーのアクション攻撃に似ていてクスッと笑えたりするシーンもありました。 進行状況は主人公の能力で解るので迷わず進めます。 ただジャングルとか施設のステージが多くてちょっと飽きるかもしれませんがそれでも満足できる作品です。 映画ゲーの中でも群を抜いていました。 やっぱり購入して正解でした。
