Excellent Repair Kit No Need For A New Leather Suite
Fantastic product came with everything needed to repair my sofa. I used this for my 3 seater dark brown sofa one edge of the seat was badly cracked and other patrs of the sofa seating was cracked. I have now repaired this and I'm very pleased that I won't need to spend money on a new sofa. Although this repair product might seem expensive it's not as expensive as buying a new sofa. Instructions are included, before I did the repair I watched a couple of videos on YouTube, which I found very helpful. In the kit you get everything needed to do the repair for burns, scratches, and holes etc, and I found I didn't need everything to do the repair which was abit of a waste. Perhaps they could do a smaller kit for each different repair. The kit should have had some latex gloves as when you put the colour on it gets on your fingers wear rubber gloves. I think they should also provide more of the leather compound, as I used all of it and would have liked some left to do a minor repair on my other sofa. I would highly recommend this product, if you take time to do the repair you will be amazed by the results. I know my sofa will now last me a few more years.

Excellent repair product - Really delighted with result
I used this on a brown leather sofa and chair that been a little scuffed over a few years, and then had a new kitten using it as part of its round the room race track! So lots of tiny scuffs and scratches. When I finished I was delighted, you couldnt really see anything but the deepest scratches, and even those only if you looked properly for them. This comes with a few colours and some mixers to alter the colours to what you specifically need. Fortunately, for me the brown was close enough to my sofa that I didnt need to work anything out.It comes with some simple instructions which were enough for a clutz like me to work out.I would definitely without hesitation recommend this for anyone in similar sort of situation

Seems to do the job.
I bought this product in order to repair my mother's leather armchair which had developed a couple of large worn patches from her picking at it (I know! Time to shame her into wearing gloves). I've no idea why she does this. The instructions could probably have been clearer, but after a few reads and re-reads you can figure them out. As it turned out the base colour was a perfect match for the armchair in question, but needed a few drops of the black tint in order to colour over the repair compound (which is white). Overall, the product worked really well, and I would have rated it 5 stars but for the fact that there was only a 15ml container of the repair compound, which meant that I could only apply two layers instead of four. For a couple of small patches it would work really well, and there are a variety of different bits and pieces which can be used depending on whether the damage to be repaired is from a scratch, hole, crack or worn area.

Ruined my sofa!
I'm afraid I can't recommend this product, in fact I would advise anyone to think twice before using it on their sofa. Firstly, when it arrived it was labelled as a car seat repair kit with a paper note attached stating it had been mis-labelled and was for use on a leather sofa. A claim I now find very doubtful.I had a small patch of worn leather on one of the arms of my sofa that just needed darkened to match the rest of the unit. As soon as I put on the 'leather prep' I knew I was in trouble. It removed any colour that was left in the worn patch and the surrounding area. It reminded me of nail polish remover quite frankly. As I had nothing to lose I carried on with the dying stage and it did cover up the now horrendous mark quite well, although it left the area quite sticky even after a days drying. I then made the mistake of following the instructions and applied the shiny finish lotion which took all the colour back off and left me with a very expensive brown sofa with one bright orange arm! Were the various bottles mis-labelled as well or was there something wrong with the product? I'm just very sorry I didn't do a small test patch first, the only instruction I didn't follow! I will be spending this weekend in DFS spending some of my hard earned saving now. Please think twice before using it.

Decent product, good value
I repaired my leatherette chesterfield sofa a year ago, and I have waited to see how this would hold up. I am happy to say that it worked very well and the once-annoying hole remained fully closed and practically invisible all this time, despite being quite large and in the middle of one of the cushions, a heavily used area. Easy to use by anyone with basic home repair or maintenance skills, works well on artificial leather too (my biggest worry at the time of purchase) and with little effort you can get the color to look as close as humanly possible to the original.

Exceeded my expectations
I was about to throw out 4 tub chairs because the leather was bubbling and peeling back exposing the light leather beneath (they are in a hot conservatory). I had nothing to lose so sent for the kit. You have to mix and match yourself but having said that it was actually quite fun and mistakes can easily be rectified. When I rubbed back the area needing repaired I was in despair as I could not see any way this kit would do it. It did! You have to look very closely to see the repair. I didn't need to use any fillers so only had to colour the leather and coat the finish. I was so pleased I moved on to some cat scratch marks on a leather sofa and again it looked great. At the price it is well worth trying before you think of replacing damaged leather furniture. In my case I saved the cost of 4 new tub chairs at over £1300.00 as the old ones look genuinely good again.
