Q: Are they true to size?

This style runs pretty true in size both in the width and length. I bought a 5 M, my normal size for a sandal, and it fit well.

Q: does the taupe nubuck color stain easily? if so can you safely scotchguard them?

It’s a beautiful color! I’ve had mine for over a year with no stains anywhere to be seen...even when worn in the ran. I’m not sure if you can scotchguard, but I would think it’s a good idea.

Q: What material is the insole made out of? I need a materal that won't absorb sweat and start stinking after several wears.

The insole is a soft cushion covered in what looks and feels like suede. Since this is a sandal, you should get plenty of ventilation. Rockport is a quality brand, and I absolutely love mine.

Q: which color of these sandals goes best with fair/light skin tone?

I like the dark tan and I’m very light skinned
