Brilliant firefighters for open fire, log burner, fire pit and bonfire. Light easily and are guaranteed to get the blaze going as they burn for a decent length of time. Much better than chemical ones purchased in a packet for both efficiency and lack of smell. Customer service is also friendly and helpful. Thank you Log Barn.

Ives used many different products to start fires and this is by far the best to get a fire started I've ever seen. With a tiny amount of kindling and one of these there is no blowing on the wood, it just burns well and I'll probably not use another product again. No chemicals left on the hand and seems to be well designed to do what you need quickly.

I started buying wood wool firelighters when I first got my log burner. I started with a pack of 40 from Log Barn and these worked great. I decided to buy a box of 200 last year and the log barn ones seemed very expensive so bought some Eco Barn ones these were slightly bigger than the Eco barn firelighters but they varied massively in size.I decided this year to try these Log barn ones again. I picked an average example from both and yes they are slightly smaller than the Eco Barn firelighters from last year (Photo shows log barn on right) but the Log Barn are more consistant in size overall and tighter wound meaning they fall apart less easily.I did only receive 182 firelighters not the 200, but after a quick email to the supplier I found these are packaged on weight, like most I would assume. I did weigh the box at 1.94Kg so the weight is correct.Overall, these firelighters are more consistant in size and better quality than some others I have used. Just wish you did actually get 200 firelighters, or they should list them as 200 approx. WIll buy again though.

Whether I'm starting a BBQ or fire these are my ho to fire lighters. They work well only requiring a couple to get the fire started. In the BBQ there's no horrible aftertaste and they just do their job. I've got plenty left only needing to use 1 or 2 per fire so they are well worth the money and they burn long enough to ensure the fire is well lit. Couldn't think of anything better for starting a burn.

What's not to like or light excellent

These BBQ firelighters are amazing, easily 5 stars!They come well packaged so nice and dry and all I need is one of these to light the BBQ, their performance is great and they never fail to light, which speeds up the setup of the BBQ ready to cook on. The burn smokeless and a clean burn, giving off no odours or horrible smell. If needed they can be cut in half giving great versatility.Buy these and do not worry about how to use them, just light them and they’ll do the rest for you!

These firelighters work very well in getting a fire going in my woodburner. They are compact enough to store discreetly and after only using maybe 4-6 we have roaring fire ablaze.

Sehr schicke Verpackung, Anzünder sind Sägespänne in Wachs getaucht, recht biologisch. Funktionieren sehr gut, Kohle oder Briketts sind schnell an und vor allem, es stinkt nicht nach Chemie. Bestelle nur noch solche Anzünder.

Kan gemakkelijk worden aangestoken en brandt nadien voldoende lang om het hout in de open haard te doen branden, met 2 of zelfs 1 stuk. Tevreden!

Bonne qualité de produit,, très bonne ignition au démarrage rapide et prolongé de 8 à 9 minutes, facilement.

Makkelijk en praktisch in gebruik. Ontvlamt snel en heeft lange brandduur.

Makes lighting a fire really easy. Long duration. Recommended.
