Cats love them!
These freeze-dried cat treats are a huge hit with my cats! They absolutely love them, and the best part is that they break apart easily, so I can share them between all of them without any fuss. Each bag is packed with plenty of treats, and for the price, it’s a great deal. The quality is exceptional—you can tell the treats are really fresh, and there’s minimal added ingredients, which gives me peace of mind knowing I’m giving them something wholesome. I bought both flavors, and my cats can’t get enough of them. They go absolutely crazy when I open the bag, and it’s so fun to watch them enjoy these tasty little treats. I highly recommend these freeze-dried treats for any cat owner. The freshness, great value, and the fact that my cats go wild for them speaks volumes about how great these treats are. Whether you have one cat or a few, these treats are perfect for sharing and giving them that special little snack they can’t resist. Definitely a must-try for any pet parent!

My cat's favorite, but quality fluctuates
Update Again 05-21-2024: I'm going to be looking for different treats for my cat. The price of these just keeps going up. I have bought more than 30 bags of these treats over the past four years, with the price starting at $3.49. Now, in only four years, the price is $8.24 – more than double. My cat will just have to learn to like something else. Last month, I bought a bag for $6.50. Now $8.24. That's a big increase in only one month. Don't get your cat started on these if you're not prepared for the price to be higher every time you buy a bag. Update 8-02-2023: Quality control got better over the past year, and the price began to come down a little from the pandemic increases; however, the last bag I opened has had several large pieces of skin again and the price has gone back up. Depending on how tough the skin pieces are, sometimes I can use scissors to cut those into smaller pieces my cat can eat. Lately, there also have been a lot of very dark pieces that crumble into powder. My cat eats them, but does tuna have white meat and dark meat??? It's still my cat's favorite treat. I have to keep them in a glass canister so he can't get to them. When he hears me open the canister, he runs very fast from wherever he is and slides into the kitchen. *** My cat loves the tuna. I have bought more than 20 bags over the past couple of years. The price has increased, just as prices have increased for everything the past year; however, my complaint is that along with costing more, the quality has declined. There are more and more inedible pieces in each bag – pieces of what looks like fish skin that are so tough that my cat can't eat them. There have been several large pieces like that in the bag I opened last week. Quality control needs to step up.

Great smelly treat for my poultry-averse cats!
My cats love the taste of these and I love that I can feel safe rewarding them with them thanks to the simple ingredients. Just plain, simple freeze-dried tuna that isn’t full of a bunch of other stuff that I wouldn’t even be able to pronounce. I also appreciate the variety of flavors that are available in this company’s treats since my cats aren’t fans of chicken/turkey. The treats don’t smell the best, but it’s more important that they smell good to the cats than to me (and they give a 10/10 on that front!) That being said, it’s not that the smell is unexpected— they smell exactly how they should, like dry tuna. They can last over a month if you’re conservative with your treating, so 5 dollars for a bag isn’t too bad if you ask me.

Dried tuna bits: uneven quality but I'm still buying
Quality is definitely an issue but my cat loves this tuna. I train her and need small rewards. I have to go through the packet and examine each piece for skin because the skin is very hard; she doesn't like these and I'm afraid they'll hurt her mouth or esophagus, so I scrupulously cut off the skin. Getting the good pieces to a small size for training isn't hard; just a paring knife usually does it and sometimes a scissors. If I can't cut off the skin, I throw out the piece as being a hasard. Yes, I end up with a lot of tuna dust, but that isn't a complete loss because at the end of training she gets a plate with tuna dust sprinkled thinly over it. The alternative is Catit lickable in a tube which is messy. She loves the Catit tuna even more; I have to squeeze a bit onto a finger; otherwise she wants to bite the tube. Lickable reward doesn't do it for snuffle pad searches, however., though it is very high value to use for the tricks she is hesitant about or doesn't really like such as putting up with nail clipping, eye wiping, and teeth brushing. So I hope for better but still keep buying both. Thank goodness for scented hand soap!!

Charlie can't get enough of it!
Was really just looking for something to fill out my order. Charlie loves the PureBites freeze dried chicken so, for a change, thought I'd try the Tuna. They're nice and smelly so really get Charlie's attention. If I had any complaint-and it's not really a complaint-Boy, some of those pieces are big! Just have to break them up a bit since I have a petite eater. Will definitely purchase again.

Not for my cat
I thought after reading the reviews that my cat would love these, she usually loves tuna, but she literally gagged when I tried to give her one. The smell is very strong, as some people mentioned, and for my cat, most of the pieces were too big, so I had to cut them up first. You can see it's really tuna, it has cartilage inside when you cut it open. I wished my cat liked them (especially considering how much they cost and are not returnable), but these aren't for her.

Both my cats absolutely LOVE all the PureBites freeze dried treats but tuna is their favourite by far. It feels good to give them a treat that is good for them. I ration them because they’re a little expensive for the amount you get but very much worth it.

My cat loves this treats and that is the reason I keep buying. However, as the buyer, I am a little disappointed by the quality drop since the product came to the market. The fish meat used to be better and had less hard skin part at the beginning. I assume they increased production speed or lower the quality. There are many very hard skin or fish scales in one bag. I now have to inspect every piece and remove them before giving to my cat as the sharp hard pieces may harm in her mouth. Usually, there are 5-6 pieces that are too hard for cats to chew. I can't even break it to smaller pieces by finger so I simply throw it away. Other than that, I don't have any complains.

My cats love this....too much actually and they beg for it all the time lol. Unfortunately it wasn't adequately packaged and when I opened it it was mostly powder. I find myself having to use it as a food topper instead of a treat. I will likely try it one more time but if it arrives in the same condition I will have to try to find it locally.
