Keywords: Subtle, Chorus-ish
Disclaimer: I've only used this pedal in mono. The boss enclosure/build needs no review. It's timeless and bomb proof. Now that that's out of the way... I will start by saying I really enjoy this pedal. It adds something unique to my arsenal and, most importantly, sounds cool. That said, I could see a lot of people being underwhelmed with it. Why? Two reasons: 1) Intensity. What it does is very subtle. It goes from flanger-y to chorus-y if you follow the buttons from left to right. Each step up adds a bit of depth/intensity and lag into the mix. The switch between standard and SDD-320 is, again, very subtle as well. To me it sounds like it tilts the EQ toward a bass-ier, mellower sound compared to the standard mode. 2) Price. MSRP is $220. It's Waza, it's analog, I get it- but that price can sting considering how subtle the effect is. The value of a sound effect is ultimately up to the user, but anyone buying this with the expectation of being floored by lush waves of chorus should check their expectations. The modulation sounds it does produce are pure analog goodness, they just aren't going to make anyone seasick. PS) I saw a few claims around the internet that the DC-2w is "chorus without the movement" and I don't really agree with that. The movement is there, it's just lessened by the presence of a second modulated waveform that works to cancel out some intensity in the first one. Put a drive/distortion in front of it and you'll hear the motion. If you're looking for a stereo pedal with truly no motion, look for a double tracker pedal. Overall, very satisfied with it. Glad I bought it.

A Pedal Board MUST!
Top 10 all time BOSS pedal! No this is NOT a chorus pedal. Sure it kinda sounds like a chorus pedal. But it does not modulate / waver, there for it is not a chorus pedal. But it does give that silky 80’s tone that you dream of. It’s an almost always on and my style isn’t even anything where I’d generally want that 80’s sound. It adds such a soothing layer to everything. If you have a chorus pedal and it just isn’t cutting it…. Keep it and ADD this to it. If you want mega 80’s add a chorus to this. This paired with a standard chorus will give you that Prince sound if desired. The fact they fit the Dimension in such a small package is crazy. If I had just 10 pedals to keep for ever This is one of them.

Is it another Chorus pedal or something else? Who cares! it sounds really good.
The DC-2W Waza Craft pedal gives you some really classic 80’s Chorus flavors that it’s hard not to like it once you try it. Certainly not every players “always on” effect but it does offer amazing modulation that replicates vintage Roland studio rack effects. Yes it’s only buttons and you might be saying that you like to tweak the knobs of your chorus pedal, however I can confirm that if you A/B your tweaked Chorus setting of choice you’ll find it on the Dimension C. Certainly worth adding to your pedal collection.

My favorite overdrive pedal, ever!
Whether it's Les Pauls and Marshalls, or Strat/Teles and Fender clean amps, I need PICK ATTACK. I can't stand smooth creamy guitar tones, and I HATE the "green pedal" sound. The BD-2 has some grit and "bite" that other overdrive pedals lack. Right now I'm using a Fender Strat into the 15w Fender Pro Junior Lacquered Tweed model (the one with the stock Jensen P10R speaker). I also have the '68 Custom Vibro Champ Reverb. These amps break up on their own past 5 on the Volume, but I also want that at lower volumes later at night. The BD-2 (original and WAZA) cleans up really nice when you roll your guitar's volume down, breaks up really nice at lower gains, and maintains clarity. It reacts nicely to your pick attack. On WAZA Craft: I have this BD-2w and the original BD-2. The "Standard" setting on the WAZA sounds slightly better than the original BD-2: the extreme highs are slightly tamed, and it just sounds and feels a little more realistic and amp-like. Is it worth the extra cost? To me it is, but the original BD-2 is not lacking either - both are great pedals. The "Custom" mode on the WAZA seems better for single coil guitars, as it fattens up the lower mids a little. You can't go wrong with either, but I prefer the WAZA for the extra versatility for humbuckers and single coils.

Perfect!
This was exactly what my Dad wanted! So happy to be able to order it through Amazon! Made life so much easier! Older folks don’t feel safe ordering online nowadays and I didn’t want to make an account somewhere else, he probably will ask me to purchase more from this brand for him he is loving this! Love hearing him play guitar even through his 60’s. He loves playing blues and rock and this pedal sounds beautiful for recording! Came on time and in mint condition despite the weather!
