Perfect headphones for falling asleep!
I started listening to podcasts to help me fall asleep a few months ago, but struggled with finding the right headphones. I'm a side sleeper and I couldn't fall asleep on my side with my Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones. Wired earbuds would fall out of my ears and I'd wake up tangled in them - I was worried I might strangle myself someday. The AcousticSheep SleepPhones have solved all of these problems! I can now comfortably fall asleep while listening to podcasts. In addition, I realized they are perfect for running (they sell the same product as RunPhones) so I'm using them on runs as well. Love them! More specifics... BLUETOOTH: Easy to connect and stays connected. I have not had any connection problems. Good connection within a couple of rooms of my device. BATTERY: Good battery life so far. I can have them on all night and then go for a run in the morning using them without issue. There is no battery indicator, so they recommend you charge them every day. The "Effortless" includes wireless charging which works well and you don't have to take the bluetooth receiver out of the headband - although I do when the band is sweaty from running. TIP: If you have problems getting good charging connection while in the headband, shift the receiver away from the seam or label. You need to be connected through a single layer of fabric. AUDIO QUALITY: Surprisingly good! Better than any of the earbuds I've tried, especially when the speakers are aligned correctly over your ears. The audio is not as good as my Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones for music, but excellent for my use - falling asleep or running. NOTE: These headphones do nothing for noise cancelling, which I especially like for running so I can hear traffic. That said, I didn't find them good for airplane use. I tried to use them on a recent flight to Hawaii and the background airplane noise drowned out any sound from the headphones. I'll use my Bose headphones in situations I want noise cancelling. COMFORT: Excellent! The fleece fabric is very soft and they've done a good job with making the device very thin and the headband comfortable. It took a night or so to get used to, but now I don't even notice them. I thought it might be hot but is very comfortable for me, although I will probably buy a lighter fabric headband for summer use. Note that the headband has to sit high on your forehead for correct placement of the speakers over your ears, so doesn't work great with bangs. I pull my bangs back to sleep or run so it works fine, but would not consider these for daytime use with my hairstyle. TIP: Check your sizing and order a little small. I'm a 5'4" fairly average-sized woman and ordered the Medium which is comfortable but moves around on me a lot. I wanted an extra band for laundry rotation so ordered a small headband, and it fits better - comfortable without moving so much. All in all - excellent product! I'm very happy to have purchased them.

Scratchy sound during phone calls, otherwise it’s perfect!
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’m a bona fide side sleeper and music helps me drift off to sleep. These things last from 10pm to 6am! Recharges within 30 minutes the next morning! One star off because the microphone is in the battery pack in the back of the headband. So when I take a voice call, the other person says that my voice sounds scratchy and they can hear rustling noises everytime the headband moves against my head. But this isn’t a deal breaker because I’m using this mostly to go to sleep. I’m not fielding long important work calls in this thing. No idea why other people said that the speakers moved around in the headband. Once you stretch the material over your head, there’s enough tightening up of the material to hold the speakers in place within the fabric. Occasionally, I have had to scoot the speakers within the headband to center them properly over my ears because they shifted a little bit when I last took them off to charge. But it’s not a significant problem. I just got used to adjusting them before lying down in bed every night. It only takes a few seconds. Sound quality is better than expected. Of course it will never compare to in-ear headphones. But as I said, I just need to listen to music to drift off to sleep and this did the job perfectly. The battery pack is in the back of the headband, but it doesn’t bother me because I’m a side-sleeper. I usually have the headband on all night and it never causes me any discomfort. Conduction charger is super-easy to use. Pairing is easy. Love this product!

I wanted to love this - Here's why they just won't work
If you're like me - you need headphones to sleep. I've used the cheaper Amazon models - the Lavince and MusicCozy brand over the years and have been extremely satisfied. But - if those are $20 dollars and these are $149 dollars, maybe there was something I was missing - something amazing that would be life changing about going with a more expense sleep headphone. SleepPhones advertised to me excessively, and I finally caved and bought them. I wanted to love them. Within 3 hours of fidgeting with the band at night, needing to readjust all of the sloppy components, and feeling the sensation of the band moving all over the place, I had to give up - and put my old 20 dollar ones back on. Even though they are only 20 dollars, they have NONE of the issues I will explain below. While they are cheaper, they also have a feeling of being a complete, finished product. Don't get me wrong - this product is a great idea - but fails terribly in execution. This product seems like an unfinished prototype that was rushed to market - and it shows. For any set of headphones, especially ones that you plan to sleep with - you want them to essentially disappear when you put them on. These do anything but that. The speakers are very thin - YES. That's the one single saving grace. Everything else is a mess. 1. The electrical component is massive and has plugs and wires that are bulky - and trust me, you can feel them. The headphones are designed to have these in the back - which sort of makes sense. The only problem is that when ever the back of your head touches something - like a pillow when you move - the buttons are being pushed. The track changes, the volumes changes, or both. 2. So then, you have to adjust the volume or change back the track. Now, you have to use your fingers to feel around for the sloppy electrical component that moves all around inside the band and is not fixed. Like Braille, you have to feel around for the buttons, figure out which is which, and readjust the track or volume. It's extremely frustrating. Every time you go to make an adjustment - its a new experience because it moves around inside the band. 3. There is no way to fix the speakers to stay in position. Any time you move - even a little bit - with your head on the pillow, you have to readjust the speakers to be over your ears or you can't hear anything. I use headphones to relax - but these stressed me out and caused me such frustration just trying to keep the speakers over my ears. 3. The fabric of the breeze model moves around a lot on your head. I used their size guide and I am right in the sweet spot for a medium. The size is right - and when I am not laying on a pillow, they are perfectly comfortable. But remember, these are SLEEP PHONES. When you lay down on a pillow - any time you move your head, the fabric stays in place and your head rotates. You can feel the sensation of the entire fabric piece rotating around your head. Because the fabric is moving, the ear phone on the non-pillow side moves. Another adjustment is needed. You can feel these on your head at all times - which is a major sleep distraction. 4. "Effortless Charging" What a joke. It took me at least 5 full minutes to align the magnetic parts and get the thing to charge. Remember, the electrical component is sloshing all around the guts of this band - so you have to find it, figure out which side is which, fold up the band, and hover this thing over the charging unit until the magnetic parts connect. It took me WAYYY too much time to get the thing to connect to the base and charge. It should be effortless - but it takes WAY MORE EFFORT to use the effortless charging station than to just plug the thing in. 5. Here's the best part - who ever is their designer or engineer should be fired. As if the "effortless charging" needed to be more complicated - you need to make sure the green light on the charging station starts blinking. Instead of putting the indicator light on the front of the station where you can see it, they put it on the BACK. So you have to turn the entire thing around backwards to be able to see it - so the electrical plug comes out of the FRONT. Just, terrible terrible execution. Bottom Line - This is a premium headphone. It feels like a sloppy prototype. There are FAR better options on amazon in the 20 dollar range that look and feel like a finished product. The cheaper versions are far more comfortable, don't slide around on your head, the speakers are fixed so they stay in place - and they truly disappear on your head. Save your money - look up Lavince or MusicCozy. Stay away from this unfinished prototype.

I like the Effortless version for the wireless charging. I had the bluetooth version where you have to unplug the speakers to charge them and after a couple of years I inevitably bent a pin in the connector and broke them. I find the Effortless version much easier to keep charged. I have found that it is easier to place the charger base on top of the headphones rather than placing the headphones on the base. Doing it this way you can easily see the charging light and ensure it is connected properly. After some practice I now find it very easy to be confident that the headphones are charged and ready to go every night.

I unfortunately have to return these. I was really treating myself when I first bought the regular wireless ones that need to be plugged in to be charged. I liked them ok, but the medium was too big, and I thought “oh why not go all out and get the Effortless in the smaller size!?” I did so. What came was marked with a sticker that said XS/S. They were definitely small. TOO snug. I quickly realized that it’s a big pain trying to get the headband situated perfectly on the charging base so that it actually charges. It’s very easy to accidentally bump out of place once you do, since the 2 magnetic “buttons” are not very strong. With as much messing around as I have to do to make sure they are charging, what’s the point? It’s not effortless at all. I hated having to pull the plug out of the headband every morning to charge my first pair, and these ones take even longer to get charging. Not worth $80 extra for me. There’s way too much room for the speakers to move around (same with the internal battery pack/remote) and I have to move them back into place every time I put them on. Some sort of Velcro might be nice to give them some staying power. I had hoped the speakers would be a least a little more cozy than the cheapo ones ($20 Chinese headband from here on amazon), but nope. I am just as prone to waking up with sore ears with these as I have been with any others. That’s pretty disappointing. I really wanted more of a eye mask/headphone combo, and if I wore these backwards, it worked ok, but not very full coverage. I really have nothing to say about the audio quality. I wasn’t blown away, nor did I think it was bad. I’m primarily listening to spoken audio to fall asleep, and not overly loud, so as long as it’s clear, I’m happy and these were. Ultimately I am going back to the cheap ones, just trying different Bluetooth brands. If they make a new version with a better charger (like a Apple Watch, for example, where the fit is tight and strong and you can’t put it in wrong even if you try), I might look at these again, and maybe an option of a more face mask than headband... but only if there’s a drastic price reduction which is unlikely. The cheap ones are just as good, and if there’s a problem, I can buy 7 more for the same price as these.

Don't waste your money and time! This so-called "Effortless" wireless headphones product is very cheaply made. That was my first impression when opening the package. My first impression was confirmed once I took this piece of crap in my hands and felt the fabric and saw how it's made. Then, trying to pair it for approximately 15 times, resetting it as per their instructions in the box. I was unable to do so. I've paired many headphones and other devices to my smartphone before with some problems at times but I eventually managed to pair them. Not so with this terrible product. You've been warned, friends. Amazon please, take this piece of crap out of your shelves if you want people to continue buying from you.

I can finally listen to shows, music, podcasts in comfort as I fall asleep. No more bulky headphones at night. I find the Bluetooth connection and battery life incredibly Good. I also have Apple AirPods and bulkier Beats headphones and these headphones hold their own. Love them!
