The BEST and STRONGEST milk kefir strain I have ever used!!
I have tried many different milk kefir grains just to see different quality and what would work best for me. I have ordered the Organic kefir grains from another company and they were ok and they did start to revive after 4-5 days, but POSEYMOM Milk Kefir grains started to divide the milk within 30 min! I placed one cup of goat milk I order from Amazon into my clean jar and then I added the POSEYMOM Milk Kefir grains into the milk along with the starter milk that she sends her grains in. The aroma of the kefir grains was so nice, pleasant, and exactly what I expect from milk kefir. I was amazed that the grains started dividing my milk within 30 minutes. I have never seen kefir grains do that before. I had to add more milk and then within another 30 minutes it divided again as you can see in the picture. I even took a picture of the top of the milk-you can see bubbles and strong activity on top in this 30 minute period. I added another cup of milk and after an hour it divided. So, I then added more milk. Normally, I only add 8oz of milk to new grains and allow them to re-activate which can take 24-48 hrs. I am blessed to have found the most active grains I have ever used! This is extremely easy to use. It is fresh, excellent quality, the packaging is thoughtfully put together, and it looks and smells amazing. I have never felt better about investing my money in a product - with such strong grains the value for the money made this an amazing purchase. With the long term health benefits that kefir offers and having grains that are such superior quality I am so grateful I ran across this product. To top it all off, the seller POSEYMOM was fast responding to me when I reached out. She truly cares about people and about her product and I just had to tell her thank you. I highly recommend this purchase and I WILL order from POSEYMOM in the future to give as gifts to friends that want to make their own milk kefir. I used several items from Amazon in these photos and I will post those reviews on those other products as they all work really good together. The organic powdered goat milk, the kefir/kombucha heat pad, stick on thermometer strips, and most of all the POSEYMOM Milk Kefir grains. WIthout excellent grains there would be no final healthy milk kefir product. These grains have been loved and cared for so that I can offer healthy kefir to those I love and care for.

Healthy grains , grow fast , tastes great .
This was the best kefir grains I've purchased by far. Came early , it was double the amount and SUPER healthy . It was multiplying extremely fast , with very BIG grains ,the baby grains are growing super fast , faster than any I've seen . At least 1/3 growth a day to some doubled each 24 hours ! I was worried as temperature was very cold . But they weren't frozen all the way . The kefir isn't real sour as they sometimes can be . Best tasting by far that I've had . I've purchased several from different buyers and this is the best . Definitely recommend to buy here . I am very pleased and gratful for the care put into the product . If I could give more than 5 stars I would !!!

Took a bit to wake up but with the wait!
Very Happy. It took a little time to get the grains to really wake up and be just right. My son was in charge of this project. When he first started they were more yeasty than tangy. Then when the slight tangy taste was more forward and far less yeasty, the consistency he thought was off. When poured off a spoon it was a thin, Elmer's glue consistency. He did a lot of Google and Gemini searches and some contradict each other. Finally he took a video and shared it on a Kefir Reddit and got rave reviews saying how his grains must be very healthy, and how lucky it was to have them producing so well. They said the consistency was great and confirmed the flavor. This doesn't taste the same as the manufactured variety because it is more pure and has more probiotics, and is just overall better! My son said people talked about lemon peel, orange slices, strawberries, cinnamon spice tea, dates & vanilla as things to add for second fermentation. One person mentioned they like lemon peel. A few people say maple syrup and brown sugar, or other fruits are also good. It's really interesting, and he's not sure what he'd likely do first, but had no idea there were so many ways to add flavor during fermentation. I would highly recommend these grains from this seller. They multiply very nicely and we have been able to split the grains and freeze then as well as put some in milk in the refrigerator. He even gave some to our chickens who seemed to really like it! This is something that you can keep growing forever, kind of like a good sourdough starter. You can even share the grains with friends.

Frankly awful - Inconsistent, curdy, sour & thin
I tried this just to try another kefir flavor/brand. It's really awful. As others have noted, it jerks from being underdone/underfermented to being separated into curds and whey. The liquid is sour and the curds are even more sour, about as pungent as some kind of bad blue cheese. After carefully managing the culture for a couple of months, trying it alongside another strain of kefir grains sold on Amazon (seller is Fusion Teas), I just couldn't get a good product out of it. When the kefir didn't bolt and immediately separate into curds and whey, it was still thin and sour. It has a strange methane/barnyard taste, that doesn't change no matter what milk I use. Fusion Teas' kefir, on the other hand, never tastes that way. On occasions when I mixed the two kinds of kefir because I was had a half liter of Poseymom's kefir and a half liter of Fusion Tea's kefir, the Poseymom kefir destroyed the Fusion Tea kefir. The kefir made with Fusion Teas grains is always creamy, thick and mild and rich tasting. But when I added the kefir made with Poseymom's grains to it, it quickly turned very thin, sour and nasty. It appears that there is some bacteria in the Poseymom's grains that digest the polysaccharide fiber that makes kefir thick and creamy, and that's probably the same bacteria that's creating the methane/cow manure flavor that the Poseymom kefir has. I hate to murder a SCOBY but I'm going to trash the Poseymom kefir grains before they contaminate and wreck the Fusion Teas grains. I can't even give them away because people I'd give them to would probably think I'm crazy for drinking that stuff.
