Easy to clean, i just use a wet rag on slow cook. so convenient. perfect for when you want to have a versatile and easy hot food option out for guests before and after the main, but still purchase a home-sized option. this is a good mid-size option for taquitos, sausages, and hot dogs of all varieties

Absolutely wonderful! When our faithful hot dog roller died last month, I know I needed a replacement quickly. We use this appliance probably once a week (or more during the winter). I am very happy with the Candery and it cleans so easily. I also like the two settings, keeping the hot dogs warm once they are finished cooking.

UPDATE: I returned the faulty dog roller (Thank you Amazon) and got a new one. Same exact problem. (see video) First use resulted in cracling noises and uneven cooking. Dogs would not roll 360 degrees. Only about 20 then back another 20. That one was also returned. - ORIGINAL REVIEW - During the first use, while salivating over some all-beef franks, I noticed the rollers had stopped turning around in a continuous motion/direction. Instead they would move about 25 degrees in one direction then 25 degrees in the opposite direction. Dogs were cooked unevenly but tasted great. I tried a 2nd batch and the rollers wouldn't turn at all. I thought maybe the thing has to cool down between cycles? No... I unplug it and wait, plug it back in, still wont work. Wait for it to cool down and it still wont roll. Light in the switch comes on but no rolling action. I try a little mechanical agitation by lifting it and slamming it down on the counter and BINGO... the rollers started working just fine. Something's wrong with this thing and I don't think I fixed it. I just got it to work for a while. We'll see how it goes next time. By the way, dogs were great.

We purchased the Hot Dog Roller (6 capacity) 2 years ago. We mostly use it at our campsite, but also at home during the off season. The unit has worked great for us. The hot dogs turn out perfect. We have also cooked sausages, Taquitos, and egg rolls. Once you develop a method for cleaning it, it cleans quick and simple. It’s been helpful and fun for the kids birthday pool parties as well~ plenty of hotdogs ready to go at all times~ once the hotdogs are placed they are warmed thoroughly and evenly within 15 minutes. Compact enough to pack away easily in the closet while not in use (I suggest keeping to box it came in) Terrific price
