Lords of Waterdeep Video Game – 20 March 2012

This is a superb worker placement strategy boardgame for 2-5 players... Gameplay duration may vary from 1-2 hrs depending on number of players and speed of each. Quick to teach/learn and good fun.Delivery Time: Being an imported product delivery date was showing a large range...committed max date was 5 Dec but I got it on 20 Nov... so that was great! Received package in amazing condition.

Lords of Waterdeep is an excellent worker placement / euro type of board game for 2 to 5 players. Both content and component of the game is amazing. Loved playing the game with friends.

Great board game with a nice theme, this one. Easy to teach new players and loved by regular gamers as well. It's got the right amount of player interaction, which is what makes this game a lot of fun. I can see myself play this one on quite a regular basis with my friends.

Fun straegy game. Max 5 players.The rules can be daunting intially but gets easier when you start the game.

Great gateway worker placement game. Nicely fits among board gamers group as well as family members. Not heavy strategic planning like terra mystica or any others, that what I was aiming for, to balance the collection.Only one minus point is the game box itself. The quality is not upto the mark. The box design is such that it can open anytime accidentally as well. Also the inner box material where we put game pieces is also cranky.Instead of saying that the box should justify the price I will say it is not justifying the game itself. :)

Love the game. Serves as a gateway game too, at least it did for my senior citizen parents, who quite enjoyed it and played it well too. The rules can be a bit too much initially, but start playing and then it becomes simpler. Bought it from PBC mart at a good price of Rs. 2,841. The packing was alright, but the game received some damage in shipping, which the seller said was from UK. Quite happy overall.

As you'll see in a lot of reviews here, I too received a damaged box. But the game itself wasn't used, all the components inside were brand new and of top notch quality. The card made of thick stock, all wooden pieces and the die cut components were sturdy and came off clean from the mould. I got it from seller PBC mart and for about ₹2700. I do believe a large portion of the damage can be attributed to the weird half lid design of the box. Still, the seller should have been careful with the storage and packaging.I'm guessing if you're browsing through this space, you probably know a bit about the game. If you don't go read the reviews online and look at Wil Wheaton's video on YouTube to see if this game is for you.Overall despite the box condition, the price you pay is really worth the gameplay experience and the fun you'll have with friends on game night.
