For the money it is pretty straight. Only using it in a pillar drill for small bit sizes but works very well.

I had to shorten the shaft which was made from high carbon steel, so pretty good quality for the price.

Excellent lab tool
I use this to prepare metallurgical samples for DSC analysis. This is, without a doubt, the secret weapon that I've been looking for for years. I can prepare ultra thin samples with a mass of just 25mg with ease! One modification that I made was to dip the shaft in rubber so that I can have a more sturdy grip. I realize that this is not what this tool is meant for, but it is an excellent application!

Runs true
Hollow all the way through and runs true. Using this to adapt ER11 collets to my upgraded ER20 spindle so I cut it down a bit. Also handy as an extension when you need to reach deep into a cavity with a small bit but don't want to lose too much rigidity.
