Taste
I just bought a gosney pizza oven and my husband saw a video where they used Mutti. These tomatoes are so sweet and the perfect size can for three pizzas. The taste is fresh and sweet, the quality is there. We tried out the oven and just put the sauce in a bowl and added salt. The pizzas came out amazing and the sauce was great. I would highly recommend, These are an import from Italy and have that/ great taste of San Marzano tomatoes

A staple in my pizza making.
I thoroughly enjoyed Mutti Whole Peeled San Marzano Tomatoes! The authentic taste from Italy shines through, and the packaging is not only visually appealing but also practical. These tomatoes have become a staple in my kitchen, and I highly recommend them.

Excellent Canned Whole Tomatoes
I've made plenty of sauces with all kinds of canned tomatoes (and fresh), but these Mutti ones make an incredible sauce. It may be the best sauce yet. It is a bummer that they don't come in 28 oz cans, but that's okay because the end result is excellent. Yeah, sometimes the cans come pretty beat up, but who cares about a dented can or two? Tastes the same.

No Real Substitute in my Experience
Been eating these for about five years. The quality of the tomatoes is really hard to beat .Pricey to be sure. But what sets these apart for me are two things. First, no basil in the can, which seems to be what Italians prefer. But if I want basil I'll add it. And second these are small cans. You can of course buy 28oz cans of San Marzano - lots out there -quality and relatively cheaper - but what if you are single feeding only you pretty much. Put half the big can in the fridge for 3 days. No thanks. I stopped looking for alternatives a few years back.

Better economical options
The vendor sent it without any real protection, only some covering the empty space instead the entire package being wrapped. So some of the cans busted open. They had a no refund policy, but Amazon luckily backed me up on this and sent my money back and let me keep the few cans that survived. This is why Amazon can be great. So let's start of by saying these are good, better than Cento, in my opinion. The problem is that you get 6 14oz cans while you can literally get 6 28oz cans for less or a couple of dollars extra. Mind you these are double the weight compared to the smaller Muti.I really like Muti, especially their passata, but I can't excuse how expensive these are. I understand that these aren't being sold by Muti as well, so I can't entirely blame them. You can find other DOP and the official seal of PSMDASN (Pomodoro San Marzano Dell'Agro Sarnese-Nocerino) from other brands. These are sweet, but not as sweet as the sauce I've tried in Neapolitan pizzerias around my city. Very little acidic tang to it. They crush easily. They weren't too watery or too thick. The cans say they only last 5 days in the fridge after opening.Would I buy again? Maybe if the price drops and they're being sold by Muti or Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. But for now I'll continue trying the other brands with DOP and PSMDASN seal. I'll probably try California grown San Marzano style tomatoes before I try these small cans again.

OMG
THere4 are good canned San Marzano tomatoes, I often use them for just pasta sauce. On the other hand, when I am making a lasagna or another dish that call for a lot of sauce, why use good when great is available. It is expensive, so I do not make lasagna all that often.
