Club Nintendo 2011 Platinum Rewards Pin set badges

I love the way the buttons look. But I'm just a bit sad at how they came.. The box was rather dented, and so was the colored boxes inside the shilling box.. So I can't really keep them in the box anymore like I planned on doing..

What a cheap product! Half of the box is empty - not sure why not make a smaller box then. Stay away!

The 2011 Club Nintendo pin set was only available to Club Nintendo Platinum members and was shipped in December of 2011. The pins are about the size of a quarter, and feature various characters from the original Super Mario Bros. game. The pins come in a colorful box, which features the characters on one side, a giant pixelated Mario on another, and Mario sliding down the flagpole on the spine of the box. The main issue I have with this set, is I wish they filled the box with more pins. There are 11 spaces where extra pins could have been inserted, but instead they just had a picture of another item where a pin could of fit. I really would have liked a pin of a question block, brick, pipe, Pobodo, cannon, Spiny egg, springboard, and maybe a section of vine. They easily could have added Super Mario and Super Luigi, and some other items as well. Overall, it's a neat reward, I just wish they would have gone the extra mile since they had the space. It's a nice display piece as well, my friends comment on mine all the time. This is highly recommended for any Mario fan or classic gaming collector!

This is a great gift idea for children who are fans of Nintendo line of products. I know i'd enjoy this if I had received this when I was a kid.
