These tweezers are great! They feel sturdy and have a great grip to them. Was able to do root some new plants and it made it go way faster than manually doing it.

I purchased these these large forceps solely to safely present frozen/thawed prey items to snakes, and I often find myself using them for other things like removing items from snake tanks and to assist in working some snakes along with a snake hook. I occasionally find myself carefully and gently moving certain snakes around as well. I have these to use in conjunction with feeding, moving, and working small venomous snakes with minimal reach, specifically a couple of Pygmy rattlesnakes. What they lack in tho they more than make up for in speed, so I ALWAYS maintain a high degree of caution working them. They are also good to remove and replace water bowls, hides, and more, and invariably, you will find out more uses for them across time. They are quite well built, easy to use, strong and robust, and they are dedicated to only that pair of snakes so that they are handy when needed. So far, I have not been disappointed with their use, and I definitely recommend them heartily. They are also quite reasonably priced, and they have pretty well wholly replaced my very large hemostats, with such being less easy to use than these forceps since you must first unlock the hold then reverse the grabbing process to allow these hemostats to open (as you separate the finger loops to actively open the hemostats jaws.) The forceps, however, automatically open when you relax your pinched grip on the blades of the forceps. As opposed to hemostats, you can "spring" your forceps to increase or decrease the throw of the blades quite easily. I readily recommend these forceps, and the price point is great, especially for what you get.

Please hear me.....not all tongs are created equally!! We have had one set of these for nearly 2 years and couldn't be more happy with them. We were so happy that when we decided to expand our reptile collection, I returned to purchase another set. They are true stainless, neither set has shown any signs of rust. They are firm and quite heavily built. Knowing that we are using these to hold significant sized prey and to feed enthusiastic feeders, we like that we can trust these tongs no matter what we are feeding or who we are feeding it to! The set I have do not have the grooves on the tips to help grip, I did not want the grip grooves because they can make sanitizing tongs more challenging. Even without the grip grooves, I can hold any of my feeder rodents by the tail without them ever slipping. If you are looking for quality tongs look no further!

I bought these for my husband and I to pick up scorpions in our backyard (we live in the desert). They are great at creating distance between us and those nasty little things, and the grip is perfect.

These are perfect for my 5 gallon tank to fish out poop and leftover food at the bottom. My Betta fish doesnt like to eat food from the tank floor so these tongs are perfect. The tips are serrated so i can grab a hold of delicate objects and not have to squeeze hard. I can even pick up brine shrimp at the bottom that are like bits of fluff and bring them back to the top and the betta fish notices them and eats the food. Very strong , well made tongs but not heavy or hard to squeeze. Loved the little thank you note included in the package. The price was also right for this product as just one pair of tongs is just too expensive at the store and I was using my kitchen frying tongs all this time! Thanks a lot for having this product on here.

This was an awesome purchase, I’ve used them to replant plants and move decorations around in deep aquariums. They have decent grip for grabbing heavy items but works as it should
