A must for every kitchen
These things are so useful! I recommend getting the two pack. They provide great insulation and are so much easier to use than pot holders or towels! I feel like they provide really good grip as well. They work great on either hand, so there's no worry about figuring out which one is right and which one is left.

great product
I have these and they are much safer than a pot holder . Also agility is much better than a regular oven mit. They are non slip also. My granddaughter saw them and liked it so much that I bought her a set for Christmas. They last for "ever" but may discolor.

Most heat-resistant AND finger mobility!
I’ve tried every species of “heat-proof/-resistant” glove on the market over the past decade, and thanks to seeing THIS brand mentioned so often in other brands’ reviews (all saying they fell short of these old workhorses), I had nothing to lose trying them.Holy MOSES! These reviewers weren’t being nostalgic; these “Ove” gloves are, by FAR, the most heat-resistant gloves for grilling & oven-cooking of the breed. Best In Show! Such a difference I feel impelled to pass on the word. Those absurdly slippery, silicone Creature From the Black Lagoon ones are dangerous because your digits are floating inside these 1”-wide fingers—I’ve had cast iron skillets slip outta my paws w those on. THESE? They’re SNUG, and have 3 layers of insulating glove-liners total. I have large hands as a guy & I can actually articulate my digits w them.Just expect a tighter fit than most, but *comfortably* so. My wife has no problems even w her smaller hands. *Only warning: Remove carefully by pinching the tips of the four fingers then gently tugging them up and off your hand. This ensures you have all 3 layers pinched and they won’t turn inside out on you.

Love these Ove Gloves, so glad I replaced my old oven gloves with these.
Awesome product. I have very large hands and these are a little difficult to get on for me, but a comfortable fit once I get the fingers all the way in. Not like a lot of other one size fits all gloves where I have to dislocate my thumb to get them on. I had another oven heat glove and when I would grab a pan out of the oven (one handed) where the pressure on my hand held the pan there was heat coming through - not enough to burn, but uncomfortable and it would make me rush to put it down. Using the Ove Gloves, I haven't felt any heat through them at all, even when taking a very hot pizza stone out of the oven. They work extremely well.

Love that these protect the whole hand.
This is the second pair we've purchased over the years. We have had a set in the kitchen a long time and trust me, they are invaluable. So much easier than pot holders and better than silicone pads. Keep your hands fully protected. They wash beautifully as well. The reason we bought a second pair? My husband wants them for grilling and smoking!

handles the heat well; difficult to put on with arithritic thumbs
The gloves enable one to grasp and hold hot items. The silicone ridges in the gloves are invaluable in helping to grip without slip. These are gloves and not mitts so once on, one has a lot more dexterity and control. The gloves are offered without reference to sizes; the written description just uses inches, which is not all that helpful.I cannot rate durability as I have not had these very long, and only use them half the time for the reasons described below. Similarly they have not as yet been washed. They do seem well made in terms of construction, however.I have arthritic thumb joints, and putting these gloves on over those joints is most unpleasant as the cuff is too narrow, and the hand must be compressed -- especially around the thumb base -- in order to get them on.It is even more difficult if one's hands are not completely and thoroughly dry. I do note that any hang nails or long finger nails are prone to catching the woven material inside the glove. This makes working the fingers fully in to take more than an instant. With hands like mine, one does not just quickly slip on the glove. Rather one has to have the resolve to take the time and the trouble, and in my case to endure some discomfort to use them.By comparison, it is much much easier to just grab a pot rag instead. I use them because they offer far more protection than a pot rag or towel. I have burned myself more than once while using a pot rag by inadvertently touching the wall or door of a hot oven. That has never happened with these gloves. It would also be nice if the gloves had an external loop with which they could be hung instead of being stored in a drawer, where owing to their bulk, they take up a lot of space. All of this being said, I thought enough of these gloves to gift them to a daughter-in-law just the other day. In selecting protective gloves for her, I passed over cheaper alternatives, and chose this glove instead.

Can’t Feel a Thing
Grabbed a cast iron skillet straight out of the hot oven with these gloves and didn’t feel a thing!I LOVE these gloves. They are kinda thick feeling which makes them a little restrictive but I don’t mind for the protection they offer and the grip texture is awesome. No more slippery grips with these gloves! They fit great. I usually wear large rubber gloves and these have a little room for flexibility. They are perfect for several functions such as indoor cooking, grilling, fireplaces and outdoor fire pits.I can’t recommend these enough. It’s the best kitchen purchase I have made in a long time!I wish they came in different colors though. Right now they are pretty but the light color will no doubt get stained at some point.
