How much direct sunlight can this product take?

I have had mine outside filled with wood smoker pellets for months through storms sun rain and they have atayed dry and fine. The lid is very well designed and secure

Has anyone used this for storing birdseed outdoors? Will it keep Pests (Squirrels, groundhogs etc) out?

I use three of these outside by my grill. The top seals tightly and it's watertight. It takes some force to pop the top back open. There is no way a squirrel could open it. Highly doubtful a raccoon could get in either. Great product btw - useful.

Well Built and Sufficient Storage Space

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this but I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy material and plenty of space. This will hold at least (2) 16lb bags of charcoal and it closes very tightly, and stays closed. Very good material. Very happy with this purchase
