My most recent purchase lists 1 carb per serving. How can they claim to be carb free?

I don't know the chemistry, BUT I do know that I like the water drops in my water and iced tea. I have been using Sweet Leaf stevia products for more than 6 years. It takes very little to achieve a great taste. From my research about stevia and the safety of using it as a sweetener that will not raise blood sugar I am sold on the Sweet Leaf brand. Using the powdered packet is great for hot liquids, but I find it does not dissolve as quickly for iced drinks, hence I purchase both and carry it in my purse. Hope this helps you. Look up inulin and you will see positive information. Other stevia products have varying formulas.
