Print quality
I've just bought another 100 sheets of this excellent photo paper. I've read whining reviews about this and that fault so I felt compelled to write in support.Listen, you can't just buy any paper and bung it in a printer and expect perfection, you have to do some testing and adjusting. Is your screen accurate for colour representation?Do you have the latest printer driver and is it adjusted? Is your photo edit software up to date and adjusted?Test and adjust until you are satisfied that whatever paper you are using prints as near to your screen as possible.Your setting for one paper is possibly miles away when using a different paper, test and see!!!Finally, I can't say that this paper is the ultimate in quality but I'm more than happy and c'mon, £18 for 100 sheets, unbeatable.I've Canon cameras, Canon printer, proper Canon inks and of course Canon paper. I do not have any problems.

The paper I use. The paper I am happy with
This is the paper I use for my photography. The only paper I have used for some time and have used hundreds of sheets of it. I know the results are consistent and I use Canon cameras and a Canon printer so it makes sense to me. I used to use other, cheaper paper but could not be certain of the quality until I ran a batch through. A good general purpose photo paper, not the cheapest but probably value for the quality. In fairness I cannot compare it to other brand leaders but if anyone wants to send me some to try I would enjoy running a comparison test and posting the results. In the mean time I will continue using Canon GP501

Good general purpose photopaper, not as good as the "PP" range
Having a new Canon printer that can print up to A3+, and uses a slightly different type of ink, I decided to try Canon papers instead of my usual Kodak, on the basis that the Canon paper could be better "tuned" to the printer inks than other papers. Having made prints on this GP paper, I compared them to identical ones on "PP" Canon paper, as well as those on Kodak. This GP paper produces sparkling prints that are slightly better than the Kodak ones, but do not have the vibrance of prints from the much higher priced PP range, and are also more red biased. Of course this will all depend on the model of printer used as well, and you can adjust the settings of the printer to match the paper. It is interesting that Kodak seem prepared to give a much higher lifespan of prints on their papers than Canon do, but I doubt I will be around long enough to actually test this! It's a good photo paper for general purpose use, but if you really need high quality results for display prints I would suggest it's worth the extra for the "PP" papers, and if you compare the cost of GP papers against PP ones,(and the Platinum range), it's not surprising that the results are not as good!

Great Paper
The Glossy Photo Paper from Canon is one of the best bargains you will ever buy. At 100 sheets and for the cost, it stands up to the task superbly. Only downside is that the paper does tend to scratch some what easily, but not enough to notice, only if you are a bit of a perfectionist like myself.

Canon GP 501 Glossy photo paper
The paper arrived promptly, before the 29th June, and was well wrapped.I have tried it out already and whilst the colours are slightly on the blue side, it prints out quite clearly and dries quite quickly. It is not a heavyweight paper but is perfectly adequate for everyday prints and I would recommend it for this purpose. The paper suits my new Canon Pixma Printer.

Need to revisit.
New to Canon photo paper to be perfectly honest, and I bought several packs on the basis of other reviewers opinions.I have a new Canon photo printer which I am not allowed to use before Christmas Day - it's a present as you will have surmised - so this will be the first chance I will have to try the paper out. There again, I am a big Canon fan, and always have been truth to tell. I have tried nearly all the big names in electrical goods and photography, and I have always found that Canon suited me the most.Watch this space for a revisited review!

Gutes Fotopapier
