I wasn't sure I was going to like this belt, but I'm now a devoted fan. Other belts I've worn have all eventually died because, to really tighten one, you have to bend the belt in the wrong direction, causing a "crease" in that area, finally resulting in the death of the belt, when you "bend it" one too many times in the wrong direction.Tightening this belt is a simple process, and only requires you to pull the end in the same direction the belt is already pointing, while holding onto the buckle, and causes the belt no stress. I also don't have to completely "undo" the belt to drop trou; I can easily loosen it at the buckle enough to take care of business, using the lever designed for that purpose, then re-tighten after pulling my drawers back up. Consequently, I think this belt is so durable, it will likely last until I outgrow it. It was the perfect length, has no "give" when locked, and the matching style of the buckle and belt give it a seamless appearance. Unless some other dramatic innovation in "beltery" occurs, this is the style/type of belt I'll be using for the rest of my life.

Ive struggled with pants falling down halfway through the day as every belt ive ever owned seemed to stretch and stretch and then at the end Ive lost 5 holes and had to start making new ones past the last one before you run out of options. Pockets ALWAYs too full and it was tragic because I cant get pants to just fit. they too get stretched out and my butt ends up out while working in a car engine bay or trunk. Not a sightly scene for my brothers in the shop. SO this thing is the one that's not stretched out at all and lasts all day its the best thing I think Ive ever bought for myself. The infinite adjustability of this belt is a welcome feature. If you find your pants are a little loose, a quick tug on the tag end of the belt is all that's needed. If your eyes are bigger than your stomach and you find you need a little slack in your belt after eating too much, a simple flick of the lever with your finger (discreetly, if necessary) and...instant relief. I wish this invention had come along years ago!

I would have gave it a 5 star but the metal buckle has edge that can dig a little into your belly. I do love the ability to get the exact fit with the way it allows you adjust the belt is truly what makes it worth buying, plus quality of the belt itself was top notch. Just somehow wrap the metal edge with leather or something else. It’s still definitely worth buying but could be better.

It is very easy to cut with a good pair of scissors. Add three inches to your waist size as a starting point. Try it on and see how it fits. It is very easy to cut off another half inch at a time until you find your perfect fit.
