Will this clean shag pile rugs?

Although I don't have any shag pile rugs, this is a copy of the information I found on the subject: Shag pile / high pile carpet is too thick to use a carpet washer that has a roller brush. However, the Rug Doctor with its unique vibrating brush which oscillates backwards and forwards, and, unlike those cleaners that use roller brushes, will not get entangled in the pile. is it suitable to clean whole carpet not just random stains, or is it too small?

I cleaned my lounge carpet it dried fast as strong suction. The handle did vibrate so it does ache after a while but worth it in the end. I plan to do all the carpets
