I recently purchased the Sunrise Commercial Grade Wok Spatula / Ladle (#3 Ladle - 16.75"L) and I have to say, it's been a game-changer in my kitchen. This spatula/ladle is absolutely fantastic - it's sturdy, well-made, and perfectly designed to handle even the most challenging cooking tasks. The long handle makes it easy to reach into deep pots and woks without getting too close to the heat, while the wide and deep bowl of the ladle allows for easy scooping and pouring of sauces and broths. The Sunrise Commercial Grade Wok Spatula / Ladle is clearly built to last - the high-quality materials and construction ensure that it can withstand the rigors of even the busiest commercial kitchens. I've used it to cook everything from stir-fries to soups to stews, and it's always performed flawlessly.Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile spatula/ladle for their kitchen. The #3 Ladle size is perfect for my needs and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Quality tool for home or restuarant!
(This review is for both the shovel and ladle that I purchased)Fan-damn-tastic! Well made & heavy duty. Welded joints are smooth and polished. Yes, some grinding marks are vaguely visible and only enhance the authentic appearance. Way heavier and stronger than utensils that came with my wok. I've read some complaints about the wood insert coming out, it's important to maintain any natural material!! I tried to twist and pull the wood insert out and it doesn't budge. I oiled the wood insert upon arrival and expect this will decrease possibility of shrinkage which can result in insert coming out. If wood insert becomes loose, bang it back in and soak in water to swell, it's really not a big deal. Keep in mind, metal will expand with heat, that's the time to snug it back in. Obvious at first sight, his is an excellent kitchen tool. Most home cooks may want to consider #2 for lighter weight comfort. I wanted the extra length so decided on #3. Length and details quoted in descriptions are accurate. Wok and Woll...

Big ladle-heavy duty-wood handle comes off easily
I bought this ladle to make egg foo young at home. The ladle is the perfect size for this. My egg foo young came out perfectly! However, be aware that the wood part of the handle will come off easily. It came off after my first use. My husband glued it back on, so we'll see how long that lasts. He said if it comes off again, he could put a screw in the side to secure it better. I don't care either way because the metal portion is long enough for what I'm using it for.

Great Ladle
Love this ladle. Always saw it at the Chinese take-out or on TV and never thought about it. But when I started using it, I wondered where had it been all my life. Love the heaviness, the long handle & the ease with which it moves around my wok. Worth the $15.

They need a Quality Control Department
This would have earned 5 stars if I did not need to reattach the wood to the metal after first use. Once I did that it is perfect...just saying I should not have to fix a brand new product.

hand-made quality
too bad folks are leaving bad ratings because of the handle. those wooden inserts are meant to be replaceable. you can very easily make them permanent if needed. say.. a little dab of gorilla glue or something similar. or just oil it and pat it in on the counter... that will keep it until the oil dries out. then just do it again every few months.main thing is these are actually hand made out of heavy guage steel, welded, ground, and polished. not assembly line press-outs. these are hand fabricated.

Restaurant quality, I'm sure it'll last a long time with a little care
The wooden handle is "designed" to come out and doesn't stay in the spatula very well. Keep this in mind, grasp it half-metal, half-dowel and you'll be okay. 90% of the time I just use it without the dowel, still works fine.I haven't put mine through the dishwasher yet, always hand wash so I can't comment on the metal but it doesn't look like there's any aluminum in the product.Overall very sturdy, you could drop it and I doubt it'll dent, good gauge metal.Recommended

handles fell off first day
I bought two of these and the handles fell off the first day, on both of them. I'm going to use some epoxy to glue them back, but come on, the first day?
