I purchased this because it had a higher percentage of Azelaic acid, 14% versus the 10% Ordinary. However, I doubt this has the stated percentage. Azelaic acid is known to cause tingling or itching, for me particularly close to the eyes, which the Ordinary does. This brand does not do anything, not one bit. That's why I believe this does not come close to 14% or even 10% Azelaic acid.

Azelaic Acid is backed by 20+ years of research in skincare and is proven to even skin tone and fade dark spots, among other things. Azelaic acid won’t show any signs that it is working over night or in a week. It takes months to see improvement in your skin. Consistency is key. Apply once or twice a day to clean dry skin and in a few months you’ll start to notice a difference and then you’ll notice a big difference after that. This cream has faded sun damage after about 8 months and my skin looks so much better. I will continue to use this product.

This cream has gentle ingredients. After I wash my face, I take a little cream and spread it evenly on the areas I need. It’s simple and easy. After using it, my face feels very fresh. After using it for a while, I see that my skin is better, even if it’s not completely gone. I will keep using it.

I can spread the azelaic cream over my problem areas and I haven't experienced any side effects. I can use it regularly. It doesn't have any overpowering scent. I checked each ingredient and I don't see any problematic essential oils as they are toxic to skin cells even in very low concentrations.
