Awesome tool well worth the money, used it to grind down hi spots on slab before installing tile. Dust guard work very well with just a regular shop vac. Handle on top helped out a lot while grinding.

It was available, shoed up on time and you can't go wrong with Metabo. We do epoxy floors and grind concrete almost daily. We use these to do the edging. They are dependable.

Start by saying probably the most efficient tool I've bought in years. Extremely powerful, stable, and the dust collection shroud works perfect. With the proper vac attached, I'd say 99% of the dust is captured. Puts any other hand held grinder I've owned to shame. Now the bad... After I saw how great this worked, I purchased a second one. Glad I did because 4 days after I received the second one, the motor on the first one fried. After only having it 4 months. I took it to an authorized repair shop and from the smell he said most probably the armature. It's been over a month now waiting to see what Metabo does. Repair shop said he didn't see why Metabo wouldn't authorize a replacement since it was only 4 months old but he can't do anything without that authorization. I've been a contractor for 25 years so I've dealt with tool companies countless times but it's never taken this long to resolve an issue. 5 stars for the tool, 0 stars for the response from the manufacturer. Second one I bought working perfectly so keeping my fingers crossed on that one.

Barely lasted a year with less that 10 hours on it at most! Great grinder if it wouldn’t burn out the motor so fast 🙄

Excellent product powerful and easy to use it operates and described

I tried this and loved it at first. Smooth, variable speed, great dust shield.... but the bearings are junk after 6 months of use. Almost $500 for a quality tool should last more than that. I'm disappointed because I bought another one shortly afterwards because it seemed like something I could count on and I needed 2.

I resurfaced my basement concrete floor and entire foundation around the house. Finished work quality is excellent. The product works exactly as shown in Metabo web page video clips. Light weight. Powerful and very comfortable to use in awkward and tight spaces. The only improvement recommendation. The 90 degree flip guard is not as solid/robust as i would expect it to be in $500 device. Dust guard works excellent, was able to grind 1800 sq of basement floor w/o creating a mess.

This tool is just incredible. Beyond the legendary quality of Metabo tools, the power of this 15amp motor in unbelievable. I can push it really hard without it even bugging down! And I love the thumb wheel variable speed dial right at the finger tip. Dust collection works really well too.Well done Metabo!
