Has anyone used this as a personal item for United Airlines?

Most airlines allow carry on luggage that will fit in the overhead bins (there is a standard size for this) and a “carry on” item. This (carry on) item would have to fit under the seat in front of you. Pay careful attention to any size requirements that the airline may have….for any carry on items. Suggest check their website or call. Then plan accordingly. This back fits nicely in the under the seat space….even packed really full. My purchase of these backpacks was due to size limitations on a budget airline (Europe) for carrying on items. The budget airline charged for the overhead luggage but the “carry on” was no charge and those size limitations was on their website. Hope this helps.
