Real good stuff, used to finish a 1965 G-plan coffee table which had bees wax on top.

I tried Danish Oil on our new Oak Worktop but after only a week or so the water from beside the sink was eating into the worktop and staining it. This Hard Wax Oil is the perfect compromise between the Danish oil and a hard varnish finish, which I did not want.

All good went on the newly sanded tabletop, sealed it well but it is more of a varnish than a polish

Great product. Easy to apply. Put onto bathroom door to stop water splashes.

I picked up a recommendation for this from a utube video of a guy sanding and treating wooden worktops in a kitchen. I had a lovely but battered oak table that needed bringing up to scratch so though I would try it. After a good sanding back and a couple of coats with a light sanding between coats, the table looks amazing. The finish is superb and the finish on the wood grain is superb. It also has polyurethane in it so the surface is tough with a great shine. I will be buying it again for other projects and would recommend it to anyone.

I used this on a new raw sapele worktop and on an interior sapele seat bench. 2 coasts and its absolutely great. Great finish and very tough. Recommneded. Much better than Treatex and Osmo.

I watched a video on YouTube as my 30 year old worktops needed completely taking back and I wanted hard wearing, good quality seal. This was recommended on the video and decided to go with it. It is easy to apply with a good quality paintbrush and dried quickly. I needed to do 3 coats but that was because I wanted to fully protect it after all the hard work of sanding back to bare wood.. It is clear and dried to a soft waterproof sheen. I love it. It's expensive for the 250ml it's well worth it and it goes a long way. No more Danish or tung oil. Will be buying more for my dining room table and chairs.
