what is the size range in inches? Giving by ages is just plain stupid

Don't know exact inches but fits my 6 year old, my 10 year old & my 12 year old grandsons. Great head coverage & adjustability makes it fit a very wide range of youth sizes. Dang, never heard of a size 8 head. I am a 7 3/4 and it fits me with a click or to left to spare. I am guessing it would fit a 7 and 7/8 at least.
